  • Reviews are supposed to be about your opinions on the subject being reviewed. You didn't say one word about what YOU thought about the NES Advantage. If I want a feature list I'll go on Amazon or Google. You didn't tell me one thing i couldn't have figured out on Amazon or Google.

  • i want to start a gamers podcast who's with me?

  • @cloudwalkerty what is that?

  • @neilharbin0 a internet radio like show were we can talk about video games, events etc.

  • @cloudwalkerty ahh ok, good luck!

  • Nice Arcade Control for NES.

  • i have a Retron 3 system and i was given a nes advantage does the nes advantage not work on the retron 3 system or is my controller faulty i do not want to take it back and buy a new controller if none of the advantage controllers will work for the retron 3

  • @Ryang2011 i have never used that system, but if nes controllers work on it then your advantage should too

  • @Ryang2011 Did you try switching to player 2 on the advantage?

  • for contra players who want to play it all you have to do is plug one of the nes advantage ports into the nes and put another nes advantage into the other port

  • STOP! If I have a friend how the fuck can I play with Contra, or Life Force?

  • @NesGamer105 What do you mean?? You plug in two different ones, each plug is just for the switch to change the plug it is using.

  • @neilharbin0 I recently picked one up again for $4 to play Wii Virtual Console NES games with by using a Wii NES RetroPort (a controller converter adapter that goes into the Wii's Gamecube controller ports) I purchased from the Retrozone website. I also found a few D-pad compatible Gamecube games(the RetroPort won't work as an analog stick just the D-Pad) like Midway Arcade Treasures and Namco Museum since Arcade games need to be played with an Arcade Stick.

  • what does turbo do???

  • When turbo is on, and you hold down the selected button, it treats it as if is pressing the button repeatedly. It is incredibly useful for games like Double Dragon.

  • @DarkKonohaCorps So like in mario, if u cut on turbo for B and then held it down he would continuously throw fireballs?

  • Precisely. But on the Advantage if you turn the Turbo all the way up, it fires 3 fireballs just a few pixels apart from each other, waits a half second, then fires 3 more in the same pattern. You can tweak it to shoot a fireball at a more constant rate by lowering the Turbo speed.

  • Huh if I get a nes sattilete (4 player adapter) could I play contra co op with 2 of these

  • mark from cgr just threw up

  • Lol @ 0:48 Nintendo Entertainment System System (NES System)

  • i bought mine fuck with the insides disabled the turbo dial then made like the ghostbusters two statue of liberty controls

  • Is it just me or are nes advantage controllers sound like a rubber rubbing against rubber? I know that it had no real arcade parts in it and honestly I couldn't stand that sound for more then 3 seconds before throwing it up against a wall. Give me a REAL arcade stick... or at least a Sega one that wasn't from the master system.

  • the NES Advantage looks like a convenient and easy to use. And also comfortable to use. a great way to customize your gaming on the NES.

  • u can use it on the wii.

if u go to radio shack... u can buy this thing u hook into the gamecube socket that lets u use an nes controller on the wii. and u can plug this into that socket and use it on the wii.

  • that looks hard to use

  • it sometimes is because the buttons jam up sometimes

  • Cool!

  • I hope i can get an nes advantage some day. nice video neil.
