First of all, there isn't a top flight receiver in this years draft.  Secondly, I've followed Fitzgerald since college, and he is nothing like Owens. For one, he can catch the ball much better. Secondly, he doesn't have the ego that TO has. I think he would be perfect for this team, and I hope they can get him one way or another.

Fitz isn't quite as physical as Owens, though. Owens is probably the best after catching the ball, and it's difficult to jam him so it makes him difficult to defend with lightweight corners on shallower routes. And I bet even most safeties can have a very difficult time getting a good angle on TO. But that's not any reason to say TO is better than Fitz overall, TO's never been much of a deep threat against good corners like Bailey or DeAngelo Hall. He gets shut down too often.

Thank you. you are 100% correct. And im not trying to bash curtis, i think he did a fine job, but he not a Number 1 reciever. He doesn't make the big plays, he's not dependable, hes not a go to guy in the red zone, and he doesn't create a great deep threat. Brown is garbage, they need a go to guy, who can mak all the big plays. and when you get someone like larry who can stretch the field vertically, it makes curtis, and brown better underneath. look at wes welker, with moss going deep.
