  • Loved that game. BUt hey - Sure it was called QUORE not CHASM! maybe the spectrum game was different. I had an amstrad.

  • @NickinFilm

Yes the codes where different in different versions of the game, I played it on C64, MSX, spectrum and atari ST, I think two of them used the same codes, but not the others.

One of my fauvorite games ever.

  • I had an Amstrad CPC when I was younger and I loved this game so much.

  • Is it just me or were a large proportion of 8-bit games written by acid-heads?

Seriously, some of the ideas in these early games could only be written by someone on another planet.

And that's NOT including Jeff Minter in the equation.

  • Thanks so much for posting this! Brings back some memories

  • beautifully done, remember spending hours with this game, cant remember how you found out about the codes for the teleport though, can you tell me?

  • I found the ultra-rare Atari ST version of this the other day. It has different codes and better graphics, of course it's damned tough to beat.

  • Love this game much.

  • This was one of my favorites. I owned c64 from 1984 to 1989.You back me through time. Thank you for all videos.

  • Thank God for the emulated version that I completed it on (OK cheating a bit) but that game was a mother to get through. Remember playing it on C64 budget tape as a kid and loved the freakiness of it. A sort of puzzle/platformer/shooter hybrid.

  • My favourite game on the speccy looks and sounds even better on the 64, great memories thanks.

  • I haven't seen this in years. Used to have it but was one item away from completion when I was killed by one of those corkscrew looking things on my last life. Now I know what the ending was!

  • One of the best games I played with my C-64. x)

  • heheh... yeah the ending is a killer. Great game tho.

  • aWesome! thank you, gives a bunch of memories!

  • Thanks for this video, mate. I kept looking for this but could only find Quake videos! I didn't realise Starquake was one word :P
