I have had an over all good expierence with ebay up until this past dec. when I was screwed over by the most billigerent ebay bully I have ever seen this woman was the biggest scam artist on ebay I have ever seen and complaining to ebay does absolutely nothing. this woman bought an item from me claimed she never got it got a full refund and then the bitch turned around and resold it for a profit on ebay bragging in her listing about what she had done to me. I complained to ebay,they did nothing
Now their implementing a new "final value fee" rule where the fee covers both the price of the item and the shipping? WTF??? As a seller I'm totally sickened by Ebay's continued money grab tactics...It seems a rather short sighted business model as their tactics are going to continue to push smaller sellers out.

ebay should not allow sellers to post generic pictures of an item they are selling, all pictures should allways & only be of the actual item for sale... I am a game collector & am sick of getting items that are not as pictured!!

There are crooked sellers that make it bad for everyone!Some sellers sell ,already damaged items .Like a Crosley wood type stereo.You see cracks or damage but seller claims all electronics good .When item comes in electronics DOA , with no new visible damage .Seller ,simply says, take damage claim to US Post office. So you've payed promptly for a problem . Also the seller leaves you no positive feedback ! Showing they knew there was a problem with product.

Power sellers either sell 100 items a month for 3 months to qualify as one or $1.000 a month on sales for 3 months. My friend sold a car over 3K and became a PowerSeller for a short time. That is all there is to it. Nothing fancy.

Sellers don't forget if Ebay falls , you fall.I checked all the other auctions and they are under par . When a buyer leaves feedback , it reflects the transaction. Just do your jobs as good sellers ,it's not your place to rate a buyer that payed you to do your job .If i choose to pay a seller with a US Postal money order ,as long as it's good then i don't expect lip , cause i'll neg you.

User reputation can be destroyed by buyers leaving a neutral that now counts like a negative all though all it does is lower the percentage rate of the feedback. I always checkout the latest 100 feedback comments of a seller before dropping a bid.
Look, most of you sellers probably can't even balance your own checkbook let alone run a business. I read about 500 feedbacks before purchasing, and if I see ANY name calling from the seller in the feedback, I will NOT buy from them. Take that to heart. Most buyers have had trouble with a seller at one point, but are reluctant to give neg feedback. When I see seller attacking a buyer for ANY reason, I'm done. If you worked in a retail store, you'd be fired on the spot for acting like this.

A European buyer named raztuz2 left 22 negs for a seller today, claiming high shipping. Could be true. Could also be 100% lie. Given the sellers past record, raztuz2 is probably lying. Ebay lets such lunatics downgrade sellers on DSR, which causes us to have to pay higher fees, then lets them also leave negatives, even ENCOURAGES them to leave negatives. It's a wonder Ebay doesn't just offer to fly them to our houses to smack us around a little.

No more negative feedback from eBay sellers? YES! When I won auction 160154518330 in Sept. 2007, I paid via Paypal quickly, but the seller sent NOTHING - EVER! Ebay seller yourtypeonline lied, saying he would ship ASAP. I complained to Paypal, got my money back. I was a buyer only, and not too frequently, so that NON-seller's negative feedback for me (for asking an insurance question - who pays if its lost) left me with a 75% feedback rating! Seller delighted in KILLING my rating, and SAID SO!

Ebay isn't just censoring live threads, they're also creeping around in the stacks like cockroaches, deleting threads that are negative to Ebay, so as to get them off Google. There are posts of mine on Ebay dating back to Jan. but a thread of just a couple weeks ago that had gone stale and dropped 3-4 pages deep in the stacks, containing several strongly anti-Ebay posts, has been removed from their system and even from the Google cache.

Why don't sellers get it, eBay designed the DSRs the way they did so that getting the discount would be difficult or near impossible.
When you are complaining to these eBay con artists, they are simply saying thinking, as you are whining, "the system is working exactly as we designed, to not give the discounts."
All ebay ever had to do to was require that Sellers leave feedback for their Buyers first. Ebay set up the DSRs specifically to qualify Sellers for a 21 day PP hold on funds. Ebays scale 1-5 is skewed in their favor. They are deliberately misrepresenting the true meaning of a 4 rating in order to buff up their bottom line with Interest Earned on money that belongs to ebay Sellers. ANTI-TRUST!!!
Gee!Forgot to add. "Get rid of the BAD GUYS" Give me a break! My feedback was 100% for 2 years,Poof!down to 99.4 because of 3 neutrals Courtesy of FEEBAYS new policy. I was a Power Seller didn't cause any problems for my customers or anyone else. End result BYE BYE FEEBAY! I closed my store almost a month ago.
I still say Ebay is "dancing" the Sellers around. WHEN (that's not if) FeeBay gets in a courtroom they will not be able to give (NON-ANSWERS) or (CORPORATE SPEAK) when they are cross-examined they will have to give a STRAIGHT ANSWERS!FEEBAY has used "Bait & Switch" tactics (remember their Ads to get your business) and reneged on every promise to protect Sellers. Ebay shareholders have absolutely no idea what is going on right now. All they care about is the stock they bought. If they read the blogs and forums as well as watched these videos, I guarantee they would liquidate immediately. Ebay shut down my $30,000 a month business for a truly illegitimate reason. It's seems very few carry the load for the ebay dissenters. Where did they all go? Ebay is offending more and morer sellers, and even buyers with all the disputes and crazy rules. The S&B won't get help from ebay chat, they'll get suspended. There was a growing group here on Youtube, but they're not here now! Did they give up? Very few doin' a poor job of it. The new policies help buyers . There are crooked sellers that make it bad for everyone!Some sellers sell ,already damaged items .Like a Crosley wood type stereo.You see cracks or damage but seller claims all electronics good .When item comes in electronics DOA , with no new visible damage .Seller ,simply says, take damage claim to US Post office. So you've payed promptly for a problem . Also the seller leaves you no positive feedback ! Showing they knew there was a problem with product.

Power sellers either sell 100 items a month for 3 months to qualify as one or $1.000 a month on sales for 3 months. My friend sold a car over 3K and became a PowerSeller for a short time. That is all there is to it. Nothing fancy.

Buyers now need to have their Philadelphia Lawyer read over a listing before bidding. Feedback is of vital importance to consumers. I know you sellers want to quash that. I say,"fine." Do away with public feedback. Then if you screw over ONE customer, and the buyer complains to Ebay, then you're history. How many of you sellers could pass the muster?
I can judge negs, and can see through the petty stuff; "shipping was slow," etc. When I see "sent wrong item, refused refund," that's what the public has a problem with. And you sellers respond like kids in a sandbox. (con't)

They never educated the buyers about how the new DSR's work. Educating the buyers was key, they just changed the system. A neutral feedback changes the percentage over all of a seller.

Look, most of you sellers probably can't even balance your own checkbook let alone run a business. I read about 500 feedbacks before purchasing, and if I see ANY name calling from the seller in the feedback, I will NOT buy from them. Take that to heart. Most buyers have had trouble with a seller at one point, but are reluctant to give neg feedback. When I see seller attacking a buyer for ANY reason, I'm done. If you worked in a retail store, you'd be fired on the spot for acting like this.

it defies logic for them to get involved regulating feedback scores.

I sold $350k on Ebay last year. I just closed my account. Ebay killed my business. I had 99.8% positive feedback. Over 9,000 positive feedback against 18 negatives from idiots! Ebay is and has been run by morons.

They are using sellers to do their dirty work for them, to get more out of the buyers wallets! NEG FB to sellers means MORE money for ebay do to higher prices sellers are forced to charge! It's a way to MAKE SELLERS RAISE PRICES = MORE FOR EGET! FREE S&H also means more for eget. WE buyers really have the power -- over our wallets! We've all been had! SUCKERS!

I can't beleive these pompous asses (ebay employees) at ebay, sitting there thinking they are "explaining" something to sellers who obviously know way more than they ever did about ebay. Now there is no way at all to block bad buyers. Previously you could block bidders with a predesignated number of negatives. Since they can not recieve negatives any more, all you can block are sellers from bidding. Does ebay know anything about ebay? They insult sellers' intelligence non stop.

A European buyer named raztuz2 left 22 negs for a seller today, claiming high shipping. Could be true. Could also be 100% lie. Given the sellers past record, raztuz2 is probably lying. Ebay lets such lunatics downgrade sellers on DSR, which causes us to have to pay higher fees, then lets them also leave negatives, even ENCOURAGES them to leave negatives. It's a wonder Ebay doesn't just offer to fly them to our houses to smack us around a little.

No more negative feedback from eBay sellers? YES! When I won auction 160154518330 in Sept. 2007, I paid via Paypal quickly, but the seller sent NOTHING - EVER! Ebay seller yourtypeonline lied, saying he would ship ASAP. I complained to Paypal, got my money back. I was a buyer only, and not too frequently, so that NON-seller's negative feedback for me (for asking an insurance question - who pays if its lost) left me with a 75% feedback rating! Seller delighted in KILLING my rating, and SAID SO!

What we post on Youtube, and elsewhere, is like ebad's feedback system. It is there for the world to see, and ebay cannot remove or edit (censor) it! TOUCHEE'! We can slam them, bash them over and over, we can leave feedback for ebay too! Me wonders how they like it? We are egeekatin' ya ebay, take heed of all your feedback! Now what are ya gonna do about it? IGNORE IT? Ebay is gettin' NEGGED bigtime! And many people don't trust them anymore, i.e. ebay is losing business from their NEG FB too.

Ebay isn't just censoring live threads, they're also creeping around in the stacks like cockroaches, deleting threads that are negative to Ebay, so as to get them off Google. There are posts of mine on Ebay dating back to Jan. but a thread of just a couple weeks ago that had gone stale and dropped 3-4 pages deep in the stacks, containing several strongly anti-Ebay posts, has been removed from their system and even from the Google cache.

Ebay's claim that a majority of buyers are unhappy is unsubstantiated and differs from the reality I hear expressed by my customers and those of every other Ebay seller I know. EBay has had its problems, and is in a period of corporate contraction. For the past few years they have been listening to buyers gripe about the system and have adjusted things to the buyer's perspective. But now they need to start listening to the seller and making adjustments in that direction.
BTW if you are looking for items eBay still has the more than anyone else.

It's very simple, IF either BAD buyers or BAD sellers break the LAW, kick them off! FB is not even a slap on the wrist for those who seem to delight in their infractions, they just come back under another user ID. But they can only go so far. If they're repeat offenders, PROSECUTE them ebay for abusing the system! But epay seems to punish the good buyers and sellers instead! IMO, FB is libelous, makes ebay like the 'bad guys'! I'd like to suggest that all new sellers register on ebay with JDonahoe as part of their new USER ID. This way you'd get immunity from ebay moderators, they don't dare suspend a Donahoe! And just think about all the NEG FB his name would/should get! At least it would make getting it funny! Beware, ebay REQUIRES credit cards to register now, they are forcing payhell on ALL ebayers! Why don't sellers get it, eBay designed the DSRs the way they did so that getting the discount would be difficult or near impossible.
When you are complaining to these eBay con artists, they are simply saying thinking, as you are whining, "the system is working exactly as we designed, to not give the discounts."

All ebay ever had to do to was require that Sellers leave feedback for their Buyers first. Ebay set up the DSRs specifically to qualify Sellers for a 21 day PP hold on funds. Ebays scale 1-5 is skewed in their favor. They are deliberately misrepresenting the true meaning of a 4 rating in order to buff up their bottom line with Interest Earned on money that belongs to ebay Sellers. ANTI-TRUST!!!
