Thom yorke is freaking awesome, this song btw is about a guy who's in love with a girl. He tries to summon enough courage to tell her how he feels. However in the end he fails to do so and has to just watch her walk/run away.

totally not emo. musically, emo borrows from hardcore punk (albeit a very watered down, poppy version) which radiohead does not. even vocally, thom yorke not in the same arena with the screaming emo singers.

'emo' does NOT stand for 'emotional', 'emo' stands for 'emotive hardcore'...Rites Of Spring is generally credited for creating the movement in the 80s. other bands that played emotive hardcore are Indian Summer, Embrace, Hot Minor, Funeral Dinner, Saetia, etc.
