  • MR.BIG IS ONE UGLY MUTHAFUCKA

  • increibel but is true; i know one... he is the realy master...

  • On any level above 4, Mr Karate's Death Blow is a 1-hit kill on counter!

  • @Sablicious

If my memory serves me well, only at level 8 you will get a 1hit kill on his large projectile.

  • @elnuevopajaro Try:

Lv5 (or above), standard health bar, Robert, Vs Mr Karate, jump back at start of round (so that you land on the Hisho Ko Ken he often throws). Then sit back and witness the carnage!

  • lol @ failing at the Hisho Kon Ken attempts so many times! xD

I guess Gen Wii gaming had taken its toll...

  • Awesome sound effects and soundtrack. Made those 90% damage mega attacks seem so vsceral.

Nary a game has felt as impacting in its attacks as AoF.

  • como se hace la desesperada en esta version

cuando era niño era el mejor jugando art

    pero jamas vi eso

esos poderes los empezamos a ver en otros games

te agradeceria la informacion gracias pajaro

  • OMG!! 1993...

this game is fuckin AWESOME...it's pure innovation!! and contain the best music/sound effects for a fighting game...Plus all the details in the background (animation/sound).

    SNK WAS TRUE INNOVATOR...total RESPECT

  • What's the combination for doing those multy combo's?

John's my favourite level. Great music and cool slowmow impact hit sound... only used in AOF no other game.

  • how do you do the super moves on keyboards. its fukin harddd.. help me out. i have AOF2

  • micky yells as ashoole

  • Man I so remember playing this game. I had a hard time beating Mr. Big.

  • i think this game is fair, but aof2 is murderously difficult! so i like this one better

  • if you want to freefight without exploting AI patterns than AoF 2 indeed is a hard game.

  • i've had more luck playing it recently. Defeating 5 opponents in a row without losing is a new personal record :D

AOF 2 may be old, but damn its fun

  • even though i would never consider myself a hardcore gamer when it comes to beatém ups (i would never learn combo lists and train to use infinites), i just want to have fun playing the games. And although AoF2 is really difficult i really love it. I love the huge but surprisingly good animated sprites, the zooming, backgrounds, damaged faces, glasses getting kicked off faces, awesome music (cartidge only, i hate the arranged cd music) and really good controls. And i can beat it...sometimes ;-)

  • yeah i just play them for fun too. i mean i learn their moves, but i just play them instead of using training mode. Love the huge sprites and the music too :)

my favorite aof song is in aof 2, when figthing mickey the boxer

  • the audio in the AoF games was truly great. I never liked the cd sound though. AoF 2 overall has really good music, my favorite is probably John Crawleys´. If i would have to pick my favorite AoF tune from the whole series it def. got to be John Crawleys Stage music from AoF 1. So energetic, fast paced, inbetween you hear the engines scream and Johns "try again boy", just awesome. I don´t care if people say Street Fighter is better or not, i just like to play the AoF games.

  • i agree on the music too. i play them in the PS2 AOF anthology, but i dont use the arranged soundtrack. the original soundtrack may be more primitive, but its got more charm. The only Street Fighter game i like more than AOF 1 and 2 is probably Street Fighter 3 3rd Strike and maybe Alpha 3. SNK games just feel better somehow

  • i play all my games on the original hardware. AoF 1 and 2 i got for the Neo Geo AES. Thankfully these games are cheap as dirt (i got AoF2 brand new US version for 20 €). Third strike is good, really good. Unfortunately i never got into the Alpha series. Maybe i was too tired of the SF2 sequels to fully enjoy alpha as it follows the same formula. Other fighters i like are Fatal Fury 3, KoF 96, Samurai Shodown 2 and others. In general i love SNK´s fighters for their atmosphere (music, sound).

  • Lucky bastard! :)

  • why "lucky bastard"?

  • Oh don't get me wrong godoftakedown, it was not negative. I just envy that you have an original Neo Geo AES!!!!!! I would sell my legs and the right testicle for such a machine! And especially you got AoF... that game is the king!

  • now don´t get me wrong..the Neo Geo AES world is NOT as expensive as some sites and price guides make you believe it. Out of all the 117 AES releases a good third (roughly 40) go for around 20 to 30 euros (around 40 us dollars) or less. Among them are great games like Samurai Shodown 1+2, AoF 1+2, Fatal Fury special+2+3, early KoF episodes, Baseball stars, Nam 1975. A System with a board and mem card should not cost more than 120 with a game. I got Sam Sp 2 new for 17 and AoF 2 for little more.

  • I've been going all over youtube today looking for AoF soundtrack, from the SNES version. It's big strength was unique interesting characters and a lot of that came from each characters stage and stage theme. Mr. Karate's I remember being rather dark and quite scary!

  • please can u say me how can i find this game on internet ?

  • Google Neorage and AOF ROM

  • i did that could not find

  • busca gametap yo lo juego todos los dias ademas hay mas clasicos como fatal fury the king of fighters metal slug y son gratis-

  • loved this game finished it 2 times yesterday got up to mr. karate without losing a credit and then had to fight him twice but mr big i found pretty easy

  • That depends on wad level of difficulty you are playing. If you fighting freestyle, Mr Karate is still much harder than Mr Big.

  • I was playing this last time on AOF anthology. I gotta say Mr. Big is impossible. I spend an hour and a half stuck on him. I finally beat him and I gotta say, He's ALOT harder than Mr. Karate.

  • jAja!! Mickey's Gay ass!! LOL!

    nice vid...

  • Yeah, mickey was a fag in the first Art of Fighting, but they definitely fixed that in the second one. I didn't even know he was black until the second one.

  • omg what was that como at 2:55 ????

  • Some desperate combo my fren

  • hey como haces el desperate??

  • @elnuevopajaro is it Final Counterattack? I believed that Ryo and Karate had it.

  • mr. big is hell for me

  • I love this game! Supergraphics... large sprites and great slamming echo sounds and zooom! that for $1500,- .. unaffordable

    The military carrier level rocks!!

  • Hey how do you do the Ryuko ranbu so easily? I can rarely do it in aof1.

  • semi circle back to front. AOF is a unique game where you need to finish the joystick movement thoroughly before u press any button. I dun remember there is any other game that works this way ever.

  • I always hope for Mr.Big to do the dive, its easy to C attack him afterwards. And then unload him with fireballs during getup. That stupid roll sucks and even does block damage.

  • U dun even need to block that rolling move. Just hold the 'C' hard punch n release he rolls and reaches u.

  • Wow, Robert can wall-jump? I didn't know that. Can he do that in any KOF games? As far as i know, he can't.

  • No wall jumping for him anywhere else except AOF.

  • I've been looking for a video of this game for years now, brings back a lot of arcade memories. Thanks for posting. I hated Mr.big back then, took a lot of money to take him down. Nice fight !

  • Thks again! If you can, post ur fight videos too! :)

  • Nice fight mac.
