I am 23, have never seen a live ballet performance(besides a field trip in elementary school), theatre show, or even been to a concert. I was raised as a first generation Vietnamese American, from a large family. I don't know anyone personally who appreciates ballet/dance, theatre, or orchestral music. And I don't believe anyone knows I do, as much as I do. I must say, this performance was amazing!

ou i love egon madsen!!! i saw him this year when i was in stuttgart for "ballett im park"! they showed this szene to the people sitting there and in front of all there stood egon madsen and said: "yes, it was very funny to dance this!" =)

Reid Anderson is now one of the most influential ballet directors in the world. His dancers are magic for modern times. I have seen over 1000 ballet performances in my life and Stuttgart is a kind of strange ballet-mecca. extraordinary.

How wonderful to have found this! I have been looking for Haydee/Cragun videos for many years. Saw them several times live in the 60's and 70's and never found their equal. Exquisite!

She was one of the rarest dancers owning by sense of humour together with the gift of dramatic acting. So her best part I think was Katharina in Taming of the screw, staged by Cranko also.
