The Saturn should be on the list of greatest game consoles ever. It did a lot better in Japan and many of the good games never saw an American release. Sega admittedly sucks at advertising and marketing, but the Saturn itself was a pretty good system.

here's what i see wrong with this list. the sg1000 was the first of a series of consoles that eventually led to the master system. saturn had the awesome nights and 100s more, most 32x games were good if not great, and snatcher and sonic cd are arguably some of the best games for the time. and i love the 5200 (its not 7800). just get yourself a 2-port and a wico command controller and there you go. great systems. and there were quite a few good games for the 3do. wario land was amazing on the vb

Sega CD: Decent (Only because it has Sonic CD and Snatchers)

Sega 32X: Decent (only because it has Knuckles Chaotix, Virtual Fighter, and Doom)

Atari 7800: Awesome (It was part of a series of some of the greatest Video Game consoles ever. And it plays Atari 2600 & 5200 games)

The SEGA 32X and the 3DO were both excellent consoles. They simply didn't have enough market base to warrant more than a few software titles. For evidence of what these machines can do, take a look at Space Harrier on the 32x and Space Hulk on the 3DO.
