It still works fine in my opinion, it's less at range but who cares really? If someone's taking over your flag it still works wonders to see where they're hiding before you move in.

@arceusex you can put it on any primary weapon, it typically unlocks at 100 kills. Though for sniper rifles it's still only a 1x zoom and it doesn't work well at range, which totally defeats the point.

Battlefield 3 has alot more realism built into the game, thats why there is the IRNV Scope, because the Military use it in REAL LIFE & anyway, the scope has been "nerfed" now, so it's no where near as effective now.

As far as the COD comment. what i mean by that is that cod has constantly included cheap an effective combinations of skills and weapons not to mention a similar hack the heartbeat sensor.

I am all for emulating realism, but not when its taken to a level that disregards competitive play.

@DemonOmenIII As I have already said, EA/DICE have reduced the distance the IRNV Scope

can let players view (In the latest R11 Patch for Consoles + PC) due to

this the IRNV Scope is NOT used as much as it was before the patch (As I

have a Real Military version of the Scope, I can say that the in-game

version of it is very similar viewing distance.

Also, you have mentioned CoD's Heartbeat Sensor being a "hack", The Sensor

is a feature of the game, not a hack, game developers know.........

Now i dont know how old you are, or if youve ever played pc, but when i say in game wall hack, it means that it is a wallhack installed by the developers. Go watch any counterstrike wall hacking video. An example of this is the Farsight Rifle in Perfect Dark. A gun that could see and shoot through walls. 1/2

its really hard to actually aim at distance and hard to see the bullet drop to know how to correct that crap

This scope is pure BS, and the game would be much better without it. More and more people are findout out about it. You are at a severe disadvantage if you are not using this scope.
