But for sure it is not a sign of a wisdom or of a good taste to insist this performance deserves such a strong "protection". Sorry again, this is not the air or maybe was not the day for Maria Chiara, but one cannot say "this is white" if it's not! Very simple, sorry for that!

Compare it to the version of unforgetabble Ghena Dimitrova and then speak how "great" this rather ordinary performance is. Not a drop of a feeling in it, I am sorry!!!

@sotirovdk How silly to compare the two, they have completely different voices hence the Great Dimitrova singing Amneris to the Great Chiaras Aida. Both first rate singers. And if she does not evoke any feelings in you that is ok, however she will evoke feelings in others. I believe both singers respected one and other enormously.

@voizovrsn It's a matter of a taste, finally, Madonna also has her fans and they as well would "boooo" at anyone who would dare to say she isn't great... Regarding the knowledge, should you have listened to more renditions of this piece, I am sure you wouldn't argue that way. Again, the fact that someone wants the black to be white or vice versa doesn't change the reality at all...

Una maravilla. Tuve el placer personal de oirla en este rol en el Teatro Colón en 1983, donde también demostró ser una suprema intérprete verdiana en Simon Boccanegra.

Con Suor Angélica hizo delirar al público con una doliente y desgarradora versión como no creo que se vuelva a escuchar. Una grande, de verdad. Gracias por este video.
