I can't believe they closed this ride. I went on it a few years ago and loved it! I really believe that universal studios in Orlando dropped the ball by closing this ride! Jaws is a classic and still loved to this day! Whatever they replace this ride with better be amazing if they decided to get rid of a great attraction just to make room for it.

@Plu09530 They disabled it during off-peak days to save money. I'm pretty sure they stopped doing that more recently and run with full effects all the time...at least until Jan 2nd when it closes permanently.
This always annoyed me. The shark was not called Jaws that was the name of the book and then the film. In the case of the book it actually referred more to the pressure that the mafia put on the town (or at least the mayor) of Amity as it lost money. The name of the shark (or at least the model of the shark used) was Bruce :)

The reason why this video has so many likes and views is because I put this video my channel in the favorites section a few weeks ago and people just watch it.
I'd also to say that this one of the best skippers I have seen, very convincing, very good acting. Most of the time I go on this ride the skippers are half assed.
When I first went here when I was 4 or 5 years old I absolutely PISSED myself at the sight/thought of a shark. Naturally, when I was seated at the very edge of the tourboat and the shark came right fucking by, I felt like I was going to die.
After going there several years later, I laughed my balls off in absolute joy :D A true classic!

I'm very happy that I got to at least to go on this ride one last time during the 2010 Halloween Horror Nights. This was my favorite ride. :/

@SilbLPS I went on that in like 2006(I was 6) And now I'm forever tramuatized of that ride.
