you can film the rides there is no rule stating your not allowed to film the rides..the only thing you can not film in amusement parks in the city of orlando is the shows due to copyright restrictions

all they tell you is to hold on tight to your camera i was a ride op at IOA we can't convescate your possessions unless your video taping during the halloween horror nights event that is the only time we can but we return it when you exit but we delete all videos from the event

OMg you guys should try to get the annual pass! one day we woke up at 5 am to go to universal studios it is much better to go early and visit the lower lot first to avoid longer wait times! and sure it helped! :D We might go again this week with my dad mom and lil sister i just get nervous on the drop,when i was smaller i used to LOVE this ride i just dont get why ni dont like it anymore lol...

my tip when at universal hollywood....go to the rides at the back of the park first (eg.jurrassic aprk and tomb of the mummy) cuz no one is there as they are all at the front of the park when it opens..then go do the star tours then the rest of the park :) also the floating disney hat in the water like they got eaten ;)
