Sart at the beginning, banning junk food from being processed, manufactured and sold! What a novel idea...corporations might then sell REAL, whole & nutritious food like we DON'T have anymore! Hold corporations responsible for what THEY feed US! Corporations will NOT 'educate' consumers. They will keep misleading them like the tobacco companies did to name just ONE. We should be fed for our health in this country first THEN profit! We had better 'get a grip' on our obesity/diabetes epidemic!
You cannot "ban" junk food ads, that is an over-reaching of the congressional power. Are you going to monitor/ban R-rated movies or games? There is this thing called democracy, both at the political level and at the economic level. Make companies obligated to educate the consumers but at this information age, no one will be willing to go back to the dictatorship times.
