  • People with stock jeeps can't do shit, end of story. Fjs don't need a fuck load of after market crap to perform like a beast, truly jeep asholes just get a life and get an FJ. Fjs have independent cv joints and our springs stretch unlike jeeps. I've seen jeeps axels come out of place it's too funny. I'm American but FJ just wins always off road and on road. And the jeep being pulled out by that tractor haha some funny shit that goes to show you who wins even when they're STOCK.

  • I would not be able to afford the cost of repair after traversing these trails, you either have to have a dedicated body shop or just rich, and I am not rich.

  • Good driving. I like how he's using inertia to overcome obstacles.

  • where i come from, we ALL ride together. it doesn't matter if you have a yota, jeep, samurai, gm...i dont give a fuck. we are all out on the trails doing the same thing and we do it for fun. ive seen jeeps outrun yotas on something and then the yota will turn around and stomp a jeeps ass on the next obstacle. my point is, we do this for fun and if we support each other as offroaders we've got alot better chance at keeping our trails open and in good condition.

  • FJ needs front lockers. That rock pile is too easy. Come out to my back yard, the Mojave. The calico area, Black mountain and the rest of the hell we use as a playground. Long wheel base vehicles have a lot more trouble in big rocks.

I almost bought an FJ. Still waiting for Toyota to get the bugs out and make it a little less prone to sheetmetal tearing and pinion to ring shreading.

  • why dont toyota and jeep create a vehicle together then all of this bs can stop

  • What exactly am I judging?

  • I have respect for both Jeeps AND FJ's , but your saying that a stock FJ can OUTPERFORM a RUBICON, fyi (WHICH COME OUT OF THE DEALER JUST LIKE THAT) OMG HAHAHAH please get over yourself. FJ has independent suspension in the front!! rock crawl stock? ahahah no way , rubicon rock crawl stock? uhm FUCK YEAH!! AND!! I DONT CARE IF YOUR FJ JAP CRAP , IS MORE COMFY ! LOL I DINT BUT MY JEEP FOR COMFY-NESS LOL THATS YOUR ARGUEMENT?? comfy-ness?? lol

  • hmmm, I have yet to find a trail that a jeep can do that my FJ cant

  • Youre clearly an idiot. Ya pick the most after maketed "stock" vehicle ever made and say your putting your "stock" jeep against a "stock" FJ. You should seriously slap the shit out of urself and then pull that jeep dildo out of ur ass-FAG! Muahahahaha

  • that crane is nifty

  • The problem with people that rag on FJ's or any other off road vehicle don't realize it's like being in a charity organization and half the people that support the charity argue about whose shoes are better!!! We all like to offroad and we all enjoy it, so stop ragging on people who are trying to keep these trails open and support the art of off roading!!! Grow up and pull your heads out of your dirty butt holes!!!

  • My modified CJ7 could get through the big rocks. My buds Stock YJ, Not a chance. FJ Cruiser is a great out-of-the box off roader. Yes, for rock crawling it could use some armor, some lifts and big tires. And get the lockers too.

This is what I tell all my Jeep friends that want to follow me into the canyons here in the Mojave. Big rocks eat unprepared 4wheelers. Rocks can't see brand names, they eat bad drivers, low body parts. Whatever you drive, know your limits. Block me and I run over you.

  • but fjs look alot better than jeeps

  • thats your opinion, i have a Jeep 04 and i like the FJ look. and i like both vehicles.

  • Fj cruisers are sweet and all but if toyota really wanted to build a car that focused of off road capability... they really should have put a solid front axle on it.

  • Thats when a SAS kit comes in handy, you dont only learn how to truly mod your truck (not a bolt on kit like on most store bought jeeps on the road) but you can chose to have a IFS 4x4 or with a little bit of fabrication you can have a solid axle 4x4.

  • that would have been badass

  • Hello stop talking to yourself just because you bought an FJ. Listen..Wrangler RUBICON...

in fact i know many people who can do this with there STOCK jeeps. so dont get all one sided about 4wheeling or im not gonna pull you out with my XJ next time.

  • i am with scfitch all the way!!! a jeep wont do that right off the showroom floor! if so, please put a video of that... i would love to see it. ;)

  • wont do what idiot? just like he said your can choose what jeep you want , if you choose a RUBICON , it would out perform any dang FJ you bring BOTH stock ofcourse, YOUR IGNORANT. common, are you serious, ill give you my number and we can meet up , ill out perorm yoour jap crap anyday. send me a messAge, im tired of toyo TRYING to compete , PLEASE .

  • After you out perform his Jeep (mostly because he prolly cant drive it) Do us all a favor and punch the little bitch in his cock smoker:)

  • Ah did the jeep get broken?

  • death J! Needs more articulation.

  • check motor trend the Xterra is a better Truck made by Nissan.

That doesnt surprice me Nissan is just getting better.

  • Sad thing is this isn't showing off the true capabilities of this truck... Maybe someone who does this more often could show how well built the FJ is. Personally I drive a FJ set up exactly the same way and do way more intense trails. Opted for the Yoda rather than the Wrangler after taking them down the same trail with the salesman in each vehicle and noticing a HUGE difference in the off the line, low end, and stock CRAWLING abilities.

  • Hey taco I dont want to start a pissing match, but the FJ is a better crawler? I agree that it would have more power, but in 4 low who cares. IFS has always sucked offroad. Solid front axle is the only way to go. Especially when you can disconnect your sway bar in two minutes.

  • can a expo complete this track?

my mom has one with a 4 inch lift kit we are going to raise it more

  • retract my statement... FJ's SUCK lol

  • too many dumb asses.. Fj's are AMAZING. dont fucking tell me your jeep will do that right off the showroom floor, because they will not. im a huge jeep fan, gotta give it toyota for the FJ. they kill jeeps

  • ummm???? You have any idea where the Wrangler Rubicon got its name?

  • omg the fj is riding down a flat trail ooooo so cool and exactly wut shmedly said where is it crawling??? all i saw was an fj on some small rocks then it was driving on a path nothing compared to wut the jeeps were doing becuase the fjs cant

  • I dont get it

was the fj team delivering domino's pizza?

  • process, how banged up did the FJ get when going over that rocky terrain? I have a FJ and am thinking about doing that sort of trail but wouldn't attempt that w/out having full skids and an ARB bumper w/winch.

  • Honestly, any stock FJ Cruiser can do this type of trail without damage.

  • The FJ Cruiser sick as hell.

Recently saw a group of guys in Moab, Ut, all in Fj's, did excellent on the slick rock and off-road trails.

  • In answer to the video quality question. Make sure you use the best video quality your software will allow and use all 100 megs when you upload. If it doesn't fit in the 10 minute time limit you'll have to shorten the video. YouTube compresses every video so if your video is compressed already it really hurts the quality.

  • Thanks man....

  • The Jeep broke. You can see in the video the front passenger wheel is toed in at a 45 and the drivers side is straight. It happens sometimes. This is a Pro rock crawling course. It takes no prisoners.

  • Awesome Video !!! What had happened to the Jeep getting rescued with crane ?

Also FJ are great SUV..... I would get one but I need pickup......

P.S. Can you share a secret how did you made such a good quality video on Youtube. Mine always convert to somethign very low quality... Thanks.. :)

  • Process, is the first, grey FJ stock other than the bumper? Any lift?

    Thanks, RoadKill

  • The Grey has a 2.5 inch spacer lift.

  • Thanks.

  • Is the 2.5 lift expensive to do? Do you have to do other mods to accomodate the 2.5 lift??

    Thanks

  • The lift is not needed and they come in all price ranges. Out of the box the FJ is all you'll need, unless your trying to follow the hardcore crowd.
