This theme song itself is praised as the best anime-song in Japan. Even among "Normal" anime fans in Japan, "national anthem" means this "Tori no Uta".

@treasure2914 Avid listeners of Vocaloid can tell the difference. Len's voice is much harsher and has rough transitions between syllables. Luka's is soft and has smooth transitions between syllables; not to mention, she sounds like a woman. >_>

though if you really hear closely to it you can hear the difference... though its very hard when Luka is singing an upbeat, fast and high pitch songs since her voice really becomes Len...

@Dojan5 I disagree. I think people use the high voice too much and it is refreshing to hear a low voice, for me at least. I think it is a misconception that all Vocaloid songs are high pitched programs, when they have such a wide range of pitch. I like that this song is lower pitched than almost all the others I've heard.

People usually just use higher pitched notes when using VOCALOID, I find it pretty annoying. Gumis version isn't that high pitched but it fits the tune better (in my own, personal opinion of course).

Gakupo, Lily and Kaito doesn't work too well in higher pitches, which I'm glad over really, there's way too many pip-squeaky anime-girl VOCALOID songs out there.
