It is safer to NOT use gloves do the leidenfrost effect, it would evaporate before it contacted your skin, if you spill some inside your gloves, it will freeze your hands then.

my guess is ur using vista? XD i havent had any driver issues with my 8800GT in xp 64bit other than overheating :( the card is kinda a dud someone was gonna toss out but i have it now :D fan at 100% and its rock solid :D

You're often better off not wearing gloves if you know what you are doing (and you're not touching bare metal). You can juggle small amounts with your bare hands (it evaporates when it touches the skin). You're screwed if it get inside a glove or soaks into a cloth glove.

They costed $300 last I checked, which is still horribly overpriced. Though I don't think anyone carries them anymore... They've been pretty much replaced with the 9800 GTX.

if you running like a 7 or 8 GHz CPU and and beast GPUs way OC all frozen by the Liquid Nitrongen but thats over 200% in most cases on 3DMark06 im top 1% with scores in the high 17000s aand world recored is like 34000 35000 top 1% good enought for me cuz those computer are only make to beat the record theres no way they use those computer for anything else cuz of the heat and refilling of the Liquid Nitrogen. its like a computer all over a hole table pointless if you ask me all but braging right

mine is 1200 Dollars 3.33GHz easy with way more to go 1333MHz FBS 12MB cache plus its a the second beast quad core if you got the money and its what you like and it gives you more performace cuz it you go but a 500 600 quad core and benchmark it to a 1000-1400 dollar CPU guess who going to win. And plus if your on computer all day working then the fast cpu the better cuz i can extract and install render things way faster. Extracting 100 RAR file or more a couple times.

A lot of the early vista crashes were actually related to Nvidia's drivers. I've got to say they really do a pretty good job with their XP drivers but obviously it took some time for them to mature on the Vista platform. It will only get better. Kind of stupid to do this, it was only done to best a meaningless synthetic benchmark, it would be impractical to run a setup like that for day to day computer/gaming.

How about you download the latest drivers. I'm sure you did something wrong. Do you use 32bit or 64bit ? Maybe there is the error. Or try a BIOS update. Cause obviously the 8800 series works great for everyone but you...so I think the chances are a lot higher that you screw something up than Nvidia.
