The propane cylinders are only for starting, once it's running, we switch to diesel, and disconnect the gas cylinders. It actually dies produce quite a bit of thrust!

Pretty flame but does it produce any kind of usable thrust? I would imagine that putting in a cv centrifugal transmission to the rear wheels would make that sucker go, but would be pretty expensive to build.

Yes it does produce thrust, but you're right, a direct drive to the wheels from a free power turbine would be good.

The reheat fuel pipe was a temporary plastic pipe, but it just melted with the heat, then when the reheat fuel was switched on, it just sprayed all over the jet pipe, kaboom!

Pretty cool man---Although my stock Toro still cuts grass better! If you could get this thing to actually cut grass, and rerouted the clippings threw the exhaust manifold-you wouldnt need to ever dump your grass clippings again!
