I loved the film and have enjoyed the other "behind the scenes" video posted on Youtube. But the editing here, with brief shots of farm animals followed by a Indian foot that has walked a thousand miles, suggests something that borders of exploitation or simply bad comic relief. Whatever it is, it doesn't explain itself enough to be included in what is essentially an advertisment meant to bring people into the cinemas...And don't play it off as "anthropological research"

Hmm..I saw Anderson on Canadian TV the other night and I now here directing and he's a bit of a rich twit. Now it makes sense that the only film I really identified with was Rushmore because I am working-class (but super-talented and ambitious). I loved the theme of friendship between the classes; I've felt somewhat alienated from the other films. But of course, I have to look below the surface.
