I used to think I just wanted to be like Tom Waits.... I have found I am now consumed by the idea... I would steal one of his kidneys on the off chance that it would help my song writing. He'd wake up in a bath tub of ice in Mexico going "Crap they took my kidney!" and I'd wake up cussing my second hand kidney from a man who smoked gravel, and drank kerosene! Ahh, one of my absolute favourite Tom Waits tracks. Sadly it doesn't seem to be that well known and doesn't get much credit.
