If you install the mac4lin icon theme for gnome, they come with the apple logo in the menu bar. I found the icon theme in gnome-look.org.

You must install screenlets in ubuntu, they are widgets like vista. Come with calendar, clock, wheater, cpu and memory usage, and more.

Compiz Fusion, which is not the full features with the "cube"(I cannot quote particular differences). the dock effect he has is Kiba however. theme is like he mentioned the mac4lin for gtk2+.

Yup compizfusion is out.

compiz-fusion is already installed in Ubuntu. All you have to do is enable it in the appearances menu. The other effects are plugins which you can find around the net. Google is your friend.
