  • dude this is some cool shit i subscibed and will be watching more of your videos

  • What happens if your cockpit window/cover stops working and it catches on fire?

  • It has a handle over the left shoulder on the firewall underneath the rear left window where you can release the motor and actuate the cockpit by hand.

  • It has a quick release lever over the left shoulder and the canopy can be moved manually.

  • hi im for mexico your vehicle is asome my respect and my admiration for you work only one cuestion how much is the price to make your vehicle? i mean what is all the inversion in this proyect? thanks and congratulation.

  • very well done, that is sweet

  • how much is my only question to make me one

  • It will probably cost you around $20,000

  • I was wondering how did you attatch the windows to the frame work?

  • Fancy!! Awesome build.

  • Did you need a motorcycles liscense? also what did you use for the front axle? i cant seem to put mine together right? and last what size rim did u use? is that a bigboy rim and tire?

  • You need a motorcycle license, For the front suspension I used a mustang II tubular set with coilovers, the rear rim is a 18" motorcycle wheel by 12". The tire is a car tireand I got it from performance cycle Here in Colorado.

  • What did this cost in the end to build?

  • this was sick even tht window class

    "st3p"

  • this thing is awesome

  • Well if you can post another video just about that reverse motor just explain how it works that would be great... So I can just watch it.... Thanks a lot.

  • Ohh ok, thanks for answering my question but how do you power that? Through battery?

  • yeap! Optima red top battery.

  • Great trike, just wanna ask if what motor did you use for the reverse and is it connected to the battery? Thanks

  • It has a 2000 lb winch motor and when you pull the reverse lever it engages, then you have to press the button at the tip of the lever to start the motor. It has a system where the sprocket spins freely one way and locks to the reverse motor the other way.

  • Hey it's a bad ass trike you got... Just wanna ask what motor did you use for the reverse and is it connected to the battery? Thanks...

  • all vehicles on 3 wheels are consider motorcycles wether they drive as a car or motorcycle. So yes, this is a motorcycle license.

  • what do u register this as? car? motorbike?

  • Wow, i'm glad I came across this video. Nice work Jorge. 5 stars. Are you planning on mass producing these? I wouldn't mind being a primary investor. BTW, put an airbag in it and you are truly a genious.

  • Thank you, check out this weekend the up coming video. I' m gonna try to get licensed this saturday (or at least get the VIN#) here in Denver, there is an inspection place open saturdays in Golden so lets hope everything goes well. Right now working on the fenders and bodywork.

Have a good one. Oh, no air bags since it has a 4 point harness, and already spent too much money and I want to make it as affordable as I can to compete with the T Rex.

  • This is the coolest home made Rev.Trike I've seen before! Im planning to do my own too.

    Congratulations dude.

  • Thanks and will post another video after this week when done with school and take a break for the summer.

    Have a great week.

  • you are a welding machine man. those look great.

  • shit dude thats super cool

  • Thanks dude, there are a couple people who asked me to post another video and I will this weekend, the trike won't be running because of all the parts I took apart to set up the sound system and upholstery, I will dissapoint some people but some others will find it interesting.

    Thanks again....

  • look forward to seeing the update, fascinating project

  • Thanks! and yes! As soon as I'm done with the upholstery will start with the bodywork and then will take everything apart to prepare the frame. hopefully it won't take too long so I can get the license plates before spring is over...

  • amazing work man. good taste in music too!!

are you planning on disassembling it and painting the frame?

  • wow man you put the kawi t-rex to shame pat yourself on the back i would if i had a million buks i would give it to you t-rex sucks compare to this peace from canada

  • Beautiful Jorge. I love the sliding canopy idea. When finished, will the cockpit be weather-tight?

I am amassing ideas from many construction practices for my own project.

  • Right now the front of the cockpit is weather proof when closed, the sides need to wait until the fiberglass body is done. Im working on the interior right now (upholstery) and sound system and firewall between seat and engine.

    Thanks.

  • Thanks DUDE!!

  • Its pretty fucking sweet man

  • good job,nice design

  • Thanks, the added weight is because the amp, speakers and extra dc motors for the electrical reverse, canopy and windshield wiper which will be shown in my next video (when I get some extra time to shoot it)..

    Till then...

  • I used 4 linear bearings to support the cockpit (canopy)and a very simple remote control 2 buttons (one for open/one for close) and a small 12 volt electric motor with a set of gears to slow down the movement of the canopy. The canopy has tempered glass (just like a regular car). Also installed one limit switch in front (when closed) and one at the very back (when totally open), those will turn the motor off. Are you from Italy?

  • como isso la parte del control remote con lar porta tiene como hablar sobre las partes ?

    very nice ..

  • Jorge, me gusto mucho el video. No sabia que hacias esas cosas. Esta bien chevere el Trike.

  • Hey Jorge,

thanks for the fresh video. looks great. how did you deal with the offset for the drive gear in relationship to the wider tire/rim?

    thx,

    [tv:]

  • Well as I planned ahead, I built the frame and swing arm, place the wheel with sprocket and line it up and THEN i located the engine which YES, it's a little to the left but I place counterweights like the quick shifter and other things to balance the weight.2.5" from center to the left.

  • Cool update fella, I was eagerly awaiting this, I like the electric canopy, I have a much better idea for a reverse for you if you wanna email me. It will be the reverse I use on mine, Well my chassis is almost ready to start welding so I too hope to upload some video of progress. How long from start to finish do u think it has taken you to go from plans to a working trike?

    Cheers

    Nick UK
