Are you guys assuming he's a douchebag just because his facial expressions he makes? It's obviously his nuetral face. You can tell because as he's waiting for his translation, his face his that "arrogant" looking face. But when he talks back, he's smiling.

Some people have a naturally meaning looking nuetral face. Or arrogant looking face. Happy. Sad. etc. It's just his normal facial expression. Don't let it get to you; he seems like a good guy.

the translator actually added some much of her opinion in the translation and it makes the translation not accurate at all....=.= so many things that Daigo didnt say were added into the translation..

I kinda expected diago to talk about how he thinks he's going to win because he won the last two evos, but instead, he said he was confident, but was never sure. He ended up being right about how he may not win, but he was still nice and clam. Even if he got perfected by the amazing poongko, who, I wish, made it to the finals, he stayed classy. I love this community.

Daigo says he wasn't confident about winning at EVO since anything can happen. Sure Latif and Poongko beat him but he came into EVO with a real champion's attitude. He still made 4th place and he didn't trash talk or get salty.

Ummm, Daigo DID have a match with Poongko before. Does he have a short memory or what? They played at the Gamestop US Nationals in Vanilla several years back; back when Poongko mained Ryu. That was the round robin matches between Daigo, Poongko, Iyo and Justin Wong.

I like how he mentioned that he is never 100% confidence to win the tournament until the final round of grand final. As I expected, he always said that the player who is the most troublesome is Alex Valle. Both of these guys has been playing each other since the early days on SF Alpha 3 and their match are still entertaining as ever to watch. Daigo, I would like to see what you will bring next year despite the 4th place on this year EVO. Keep practicing!
