  • How did you get him interested in toys? My border collie has no intrest in toys or balls...how can I get her to love them, Id like to put her in agility or flyball but she doesnt liek toys.

  • I can't imagine a world without dogs. Great vid, I might just send you all my stuff in future & you can edit it for me ;)

  • @Daized2009 Hmmm, that might be a good side business. Editing video for others... However, I am not that good at it. Thank you for your kind words! I appreciate it!

  • @pamelamarxsen

No probs, lovely dog! All the best :)

  • Awesome great job!!!! :)) How far do you wanna go with agility? Like AKC level?

  • @nicolebodea Well, my other BC Bandit does agility and he runs Open AKC, but I know he will be in Excellent soon. I did trials with Isabelle, but she was not really into it. I think that Twix will be amazing, but I really do hate competition. I do it, but it really is too stressful for me. :)

  • Fantastic! :)

  • That was awesome :)

  • I would think Twix is being a very good boy and reading your body motion-he has already figured out your collection cues and how to read your body and really looks like he does not want to race past you when you are standing still--he is a one smart puppy and looks great! The forward send was an interesting concept for my dogs when they learned it because they watch body motion so carefully

  • @bordergirlsmom You are so awesome Kathy, I love having a friend that is really into agility as well! You are so right as far as his reading my body cues. He is a clever dog. One day I went out and said, today I will teach him a start line stay and at the end of the session, I was already proofing it. He is so smart! Bandit Smart! BC Smart! hehe! Thanks for the nice comment! I really hope we get to meet in person one day! I feel like I know you! :)

  • Building drive and speed is the main thing I would change about the way I trained Ricky - I didn't know anything when we started agility and thought that since he is a naturally fast dog he would be fast at agility. Wrong! You're really smart to work on it with Twix and looks like he is getting it! Good job!

  • @Rickyagility TOO funny! I thought the same thing about Bandit. He is really fast and I kept thinking that his contacts would just get faster with confidence and that really has not happened. So, I am starting Twix out with speed. :) I am actually fine with Bandit's contacts being slower since he did break his left Tibia when he was 6 months. I baby him and want to make sure he is safe! :) I want Twix to be safe too, but there is something about a broken bone that really makes me worry!
