their great for jazz, but are they good for types of music like funk and hip hop??

Totally agree - Bosphorus is really unique mark with that old vintage sound which is missed in modern companies. And Bosphorus Turk Rike - I want to order it for jazz trio music - that´s the sound of Gary Novak, Bill Stewart and Jeff Hamilton
