  • Thank you for uploading this video. I was just studying chapter 89 (Sura Al Fajr) of the Qur'an where in verses 6-8, Allah speaks of them. Allah gives us references to history in the Qur'an. Specifically with the Arab people, examples of ancient people relevent to their past have been shown. How they rebelled against Allah, Aad, Thamud (people of Petra?) and Pharao.

It would be nice if the Saudi government rebuilt the city of Aad as a museum like place for people to see.

  • Destroyed by God for its errogance.........The Djinn polluted the water and anyone who drank from it would see their deepest fears. The water destroyed the city and it was never buried under the sand. It now is buried under the sand and has sunk, never to be seen again, swallowed forever in the sands of the Rub'al Khali desert.

  • Uncharted 3 :D

  • The people of Aad are the Abyssinians/Ethiopians.

  • @dwalkerdon234 They were ancient people living somewhere Yemen / Oman. Sorry not Ethiopia. There is evidence.

  • @dwalkerdon234 people of ad are arabic dipshit

  • myth or not...... myth as the slightest truth about everything....so has how they discover the city as well as the storm was true.....and maybe drought was the next thing that happened

  • The conclusion of Juris, Clapp, Fiennes et al was that Irem/Ubar fell partly because it was undermined by its own water supply. It was abandonned for economic reasons, because it was no longer economic to take frankincense via the desert route to Laila etc. It was nothing to do with any storm--that is just a myth.

No wonder you only have an edited version of the video: Clapp's complete video would have included their conclusions, but that part of the video has been supressed.

  • wow, fascinating. Is there a time line, as of how long ago the city was destroyed? plus, is there a proof of any humans found? how about any connection to Aztecs? God is great and all around. Thank you for your interesting work.

  • @AphtabAmbit Well archaeologists discovered the city of Eblar in Syria and found records (stone tablets) that mentioned there was trade between the city of Eblar and the city of Iram. They have estimated that the city of Eblar is about 4,500 years old so if they were trading with Iram then Iram should be about 4,500 years old as well but Allah knows best.

  • @AphtabAmbit Sorry the name of the city the found in Syria is Ebla without the 'r' :)

  • ubar is usually called as a region and the city name was iram. ubar became a city coz in 1001 arabian nights the storyteller romanticized iram as ubar. also excavations in syria were discovered in ruins of ebla where tablets were discovered in which ebla did trading with "iram" not ubar and in ptolemaic world map in 2 century AD the map had a region named ioberate(uberait) concluding that ubar is region not a city.

    but great document. jazahkallah.

  • they should have mentioned the size of the people of ad and the foundings of the extra ordinary human skelletons found in that region.

  • @amisab no humans skeletons ever found in the city as allah said in quran "Do you see any remnants of them?". so this prophecy(or something like this) came true.

    allah hu akbar.

  • this video has been edited out of an original one. Do you have the original which made by the American Scientist?

  • I don't have the original one..
