The young femme fatale syndome on wheels Ive observed also in nearby towns such asTemora, Albury and Wagga Wagga also especially prevalent in Merrylands, Penrith ,( West Sydney), Newcastle and the Gold Coast.

Another behavioural feature, is when they stop at lights they hang their smoke out the window and usually have a mobile phone on the ear ( opposite hand )

They are dangerous erratic drivers any where you might find them.

I believe in Canberra they would be called "bogans".

I do love Canberra, its a great place to grow up, no traffic jams or pollution or overcrowding, But those things just add to the fact its not a normal capital city by any standards

Canberra is not really a city, more of an ambitious country town. Its nice but theres no really history to it, its so young. Melbourne and Sydney are definatly better exaples of an Australian city.

You need to add something to the bottom about Canberra drivers. "Canberra: Easiest place to drive despite having the worst drivers in the country" Especially the young ones. You know the young female who speeds, tailgates and as soon as she gets the chance she speeds past you and latches onto the back of the next car. Ten minutes later you get to the lights and who's sitting next to you? The dumb female who, despite all her speeding has made it no further than you.

I have lived in Melb, Syd, Canb and now Perth. Canberra has the worst drivers...young dumb ass girls that drive Hyudais that stick up your arse. I call 'em 'Klingons'! Perth is much much better with drivers

Call me ignorant but wasn't Canberra chosen to be the capital since there was such big rivalry between Melbourne and Sydney? Anyway,that was one of the reasons.

sydney and melbourne agreed to build a new city inbetween the two to be the capital as they had too bigger rivalry to be one of the other. its stupid though coz canberra is mch closer to sydney

yes,and there's apparently still rivalry between the cities

few non aussies know the actual capital of Australia and either reply Sydney or Melbourne (the latter WAS the capital until 1927)
