  • And as most now know... she IS a success.. all home safe.. watched it... Welcome home Endeavor!

  • @ThePlanetDude yup lol

  • twenty or twing... XD

  • needs a Carl Sagan voice over. its wonderful. the end of the shuttle system is only the begining of more spacecraft.

on a related note, endeavour is going to be on permanent exhibit at the california science center :D

  • @mywordIsay well, looks just the same here in the U.S.!

  • Hope beautiful success : Endeavour/STS-134(last time)

  • i flew down 4-28 from chicago to not see this. fubar.

  • @bks1979 aw man!Hope you can make it again to STS-135!:)

  • went to that today was awsome. i was 4 miles away at the jetti. to bad the cloud covered up most of the launch. but the sound and rumble was great!!

  • @mywordIsay what!No science teachers were interested?Unbelievable!

  • why is it so jerky

  • @googleboughtmee sorry, having a hard time recording it in HD.There's a lot of vids out there though.

  • @googleboughtmee Have you ever watched a sports show where they do a closeup shot but the camera is really far away? The least little wobble in the camera will make the whole picture shake because it's magnified so far. Now imagine doing the same thing, for a shuttle that was already 12 MILES away at the end of this video clip. Within two minutes, it is moving LITERALLY "faster than a speeding bullet - more powerful than a locomotive. It's a bird - it's a plane - it's"... the Space Shuttle!

  • I saw the very first launch in 1980 (81?). And now I've seen the very last. Makes me cry.

  • @ChrisAstro30 Third grade. Started in 80 and ended in 81. :)

  • @LittleFiddlyBits That was the second to last...

  • Hopefully one day we will bring more emphasis on this program and I can see this live....wouldnt that be amazing?

  • Pretty neat. :)

  • Picturesque launch. Good luck to everyone involved in the mission.

  • WOW! I am 36 yrs old and have seen only a handful of these. And of those, the majority ended in disaster. What a history making Endeavor...pun not intended.LOL. (sniff sniff)

  • @TheSkepticalApe That pun, good sir, was most definitely intended.

  • @TheSkepticalApe The majority ended in disaster? What shuttle launches have you been watching?

  • @jhaug313 maybe scrubs or delays.

  • @TheSkepticalApe ..OK, lol... most ended in disaster? Out of 134 shuttle missions, there were 2 "disasters". That is a 98.507% success rate. 1.493% is definitely not most.... also if no pun was intended why did you capitalize Endeavour?

  • @MabelNormand That was someone else using my account, I'm 25.

  • @TheSkepticalApe Tht was someone using my account. I'm 25.

  • Just beautiful!
