I wish that someone would have gotten on her regarding the split position in her tour jete. It just wasn't anywhere near the 180 degrees needed to get the full bonus from it. If she had started correcting it here, it wouldn't have been such a problem in Beijing a year later.

people who used to mock svetlanas weight at this time should take a look at nastia luicin weight , after certain age you need to lose weight to maintain elite level of gymnastics and what Svetlana has done ( finishing her career no 1 at age of 25) will probably never be seen again , she gave it all for gymnastics.
