Was so scared and frustrated about dawson having sex when she was with pacey. She never gave her heart fully to pacey, she never could make the step to leave dawson for good. She was actually more like a bitch to dawson when you think about it. She leaves him in season 2 episode 6 for her own reasons. Ok then again in the season finale over anger. To be honest season 4 should have been completely different, making dawsons character just leave joey for good because she did nuthing but hurt him.

J and P had to end up together. Logical because D is a movie buff and is more in love with Spielberg and movies.D loves J in an innocent way. They’re soul mates. J loves P like a woman and she loved D like a girl. That's the huge difference. If you watch carefully the episodes particularly season 3 and 4, J is madly in love with P and she's deeply heartbroken when Pacey decides to break up (end of season 4).After this break up, you feel that J and P are not over each other and still in love.

Well Dawson was lost between his Spielberg dream and love life but make no mistake he loved Joey madly and intensely but he suffered in my opinion because he took her for granted, that is where pacey got hold of her! Pacey's romance was pretty strong, but what Dawson and Joey have is way more intense than anything! Throughout the show Joey has never minded Pacey making love with other women, but whenever Dawson has been shagged up with someone, she as ALWAYS and quite VIVIDLY felt uneasy!

Hmmm. I agree with you in theory you know. About Joey anyway (put the actress aside for a sec). All I'm saying is that Dawson displayed some pretty nasty character traits himself. I found him, at worst, selfish and passive agressive (something Joey excelled at also) and, at best, totally insipid. Pacey appeals much more as a more developed and fully realised character. But its personal taste at the end of the day.

What hurts the most is how they ended the show with Pacey and Joey like Dawson and Joey together in the start of it all did not mean anything. I thought in the end she would want Dawson and Know he is the only one for her.

But anyways the video is great the clips go perfectly with the words and i like all the clips no pacey and joey together you can't even see him on the dock with Joey. The way it should be

@bswoops The whole point of the show was to show how you don't always end up with the first person you love. For example, Joey first loved Dawson BUT Dawson first loved Jenn. He didn't even think of Joey as a girl until he was forced to because Pacey mentioned it. I mean most of the time Joey even admitted she didn't love him romantically anymore, she was just terrified of losing what she had wanted her whole life.

i think the writers and producers were surprised by the chemistry of pacey and joey and the fans approval rating of their relationship over dawson and joeys.

they probably had it all planned out and then just changed things up on a whim due to the impact of pacey and joeys relationship.

but yeah, by the end of the series it was all about pacey and dawson had a pretty pathetic conclusion

No- it wasn't Pacey's Creek but it WAS Pacey's show. Successful shows get the audience behind a character to the point they believe the character's story is their own or what they want. Teen guys saw themselves in Pacey; teen girls want someone like him. Since 90% of fans got behind Pacey it thrust him into the lead. It's vital to understand that. Also, if viewers can't relate to characters (Dawson) they quit watching. If you lose your audience you lose money- then you get canceled.

Because Katie chose Josh not Pace & overran or ignored all dramatic cues in the dialogue ruining any belief in her professional competence. Rebuffing him for her own lack of 'timeliness' then judging him for her flaw.

She is pricey in her self destruction, as her realworld marital choices show. But she isn't quality. Which means that 'the right ending' of DC was one of a vamp hypocrite insisting she be liked as Dawson's 'friend' when, clearly, he was to her as she never was to him. Given Williamson's filmography (Blonde Hating 101) it's not surprising but it is evil.
