  • Your videos are very very nice

  • This is Shorin-ryu Seibukan Karate.

  • what style is this?

  • Okinawan Seibukan Shorin Ryu.

  • @djmoscow shotokan i think

  • @kurtisabc this is not shotokan. i train shotokan myself and this is definitely not shotokan. looks like ishin ryu or shorin ryu or something like that. just wanted to clarify if someone knows?

  • @djmoscow ahrr yes i see it, i train shotokan am going for my red belt, i see it now

  • @djmoscow we train it in shorin ryu no guarentee its the only style though that does this

  • @djmoscow I don't think it's isshin mostly because of the fist, Isshin uses a tate tsuki fist and this is clearly seiken

  • @toxi87

I was surprised myself to learn that there are a lot of schools of Isshinryu that use seiken. I asked AJ Advincula about it personally - he simply replied "they're both good."

Anywho, the techniques here look like Shorin-ryu for sure. I recognize a lot of elements that did make it into Isshinryu (which contains shorin and goju techniques), but the deep stances and higher kicks say shorin to me.
