This has been one of my favorite songs since I was a child in the 1980s. I always make my friends listen to it with me as we pre-party before going out, and they laugh at me bc it's such an obscure/corny song. For the past year my grandmother has had terminal cancer. A few days ago,, my friend texted me at the exact moment my grandmother died, "I'm thinking about you, and I know your grandma is in a better place now." He knew she died bc he was at a restaurant and this song randomly came on. :(
