@DunderFizken91 Terrible timing on my end, but yes you can get the gun.... I had the same problem and it was just laying down un-takable.... You have to use explosives to blow it around before you can grab it. Just save and use every explosive you have on it to be sure.

Well when you go into the REPCONN building, Go thru the planetarium and get that Security thing, Then head back to the main entrance, Find the one side door to the left (Right if your facing the entrance door) and head up to the 2nd level, After that find another door toward the end of one of the halls that you can lockpick, that leads you to a room with a rubble pile, Go down into the rubble and look for the red glowing Light. Thats the alternate rout.

You have to do a quest for the Kings where you take Rex to a town filled with Super Mutants called Jakobs Town.

You need to get a dog brain to do a brain transplant on Rex,so go to Old Lady Gibsons Garage and get the brain of one of her dogs by either talking her into it or killing them.If you kill them Lady Gibson attacks you and if you kill her you get a special shotgun off her.After all that commotion talk to the King and lets you keep Rex.

I also found a couple of other rare weapons. There's Pushy (Power Glove), Annabelle (Rocket Launcher found in Black Mountain), Euclids C Finder (A pistol that guides laser satelittes). And many more

If you do not have a lock pick skill of very hard, you can go all the way around the building then you eventually end up there, but doing this causes killing about 5 sentry bots, and about 7 of the other flying robot things in that building :)

The best weapon (as far as non-obtainable via fair methods goes) is the Mysterious Stranger's Magnum (not the "Mysterious Magnum"), or Miss Fortune's mag. Those things are always 1-shot kills
