I had a 2007 RR from new. Just sold it after 3 years and bought a Mercedes GL 500 in the interim because an all new RR is due in 2013. Never made a bigger mistake ! The RR just becomes an extension of you and everything you want it to do, it does flawlessly, and from a command driving position !!

A beautiful 4x4, I just have two pet peeves with the 2011 models. I had grown accustom to the chunky shift knob for the Terrain Response system, why make it all push-buttons Land Rover? Why?

And the pop-up jeweled automatic gearbox shift knob? I can see it now, the owner gets in, starts the engine and the pop-up mechanism fails, the shift knob remains hidden so there is no way to engage the transmission. Put the exquisite leather wrapped gearbox shifter back Land Rover, and stop the nonsense !
