  • this video is the perfect example of how much youtube users understand about cars

id like to see the difference between Vtec always on and normal

  • @konholio2 Always on would make no difference to normal in this situation, cause if hes hitting redline and beyond he'd always be in the vtec range with each gear change anyway. From 0-60 vtec always engaged would very possibly be slower than no vtec at all

  • @e5k1m0Sam i know that at high RPM there would be no difference, my point was 2k rpm start till redline, so we could see how agresive cam lobes do at low revs

  • There's suppose to have a difference.. ? Well pause it when ever you want it will be the same time for both..

  • @AcidStation1 look at the background not the time... of course its the same time thats the point

  • How does a video like this get even 1 like?

  • Thicker oil perhaps?

  • It doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile yo

  • 1 second can make the winning difference around a track

  • both slow lol jk what engine are you running ?

  • Look, the main reason no one is seeing a difference, is because VTECHs are top speeders like lambos not accelerators like Ferrari. You wont see a real difference till you hit the freeway. around 70-80 mph. Thaaaatss where you can see the difference.

  • @2DaCheapChimp If thats the case than why is it that numerous, numerous Honda models with vtec will get pulled on the freeway by a simple 2.0 8v jetta? I mean its a 115 HP engine lol. Oh wait, the jetta actually makes torque.... Thats right.

  • @bharvey2010 dude your sooooo dumb there is no such thing as a 2.0 v8...... and if it was a v8 like you say it would have more than 115 hp...... soooo what exactly are you trying to say???? are you trying to say your a fucking retard that doesnt know shit about a car??

  • @oldsrally77 re-read that person's comment, then proceed to *Facepalm*

  • @Dave424123 reread yours because all your doing is saying the most fuckin retarded comment ive ever hear in my life......

  • @oldsrally77 I think people have explained your error, you fucking chode

  • @Dave424123 sorry im not that little fat thing that you suck every night you little queerbag

  • @oldsrally77 hahahahhah you are a fucking idiot my friend. Try knowing something about more than one type of car. The engine is a fucking 2 liter EIGHT VALVE, AKA 2.0 8v, i'll say it again, the 8v stands for EIGHT VALVES. What im trying to say is honda fucking sucks at small displacement engines, they literally develope NO torque. Every honda i can think of develops less torque than the horsepower it makes, VW's are the opposite, more torque than hp hence why they FEEL faster than hondas.Get it?

  • @bharvey2010 what im trying to say is when you write like a little kid someone is bound to think of you talking like a little kid. so......why in the fucking world are you seriously gonna even talk shit when you sound like a dumbass just naming a random ass jetta that has 8v.... <---that right there looks like you were saying v8... therefore just fucking say valves.

  • @oldsrally77 So then why do cars with 8 or 16 valves, often mark themselves with the characters 8 or 16 and then a V representing the number of valves, saying 8v and meaning eight valves is used across the world by millions of people so majority over rules on this one

  • @Dave424123 noo actually they spell out the whole word VALVE dipshit

  • @oldsrally77 no they dont..

  • @Dave424123 Lol... I talk like a kid? Atleast my information is right. Just the simple fact you are 100% wrong makes you look like the kid. PLEASE go learn something about cars first you little JDM cocksucker.

  • @bharvey2010 You have no fucking idea what you on about mate!

  • @b16turbo2 Ok jesus christ another person trying to call me out on 100% accurate information. PLEASE try and do what the other kid couldnt do, and explain to me how I am wrong. I know for a fact I am 100% correct and am still waiting to be "corrected". Come on now.

  • @bharvey2010 Done.

  • @bharvey2010 your right about the valve part but wrong about everything else. Why is it my B16 civic (1.6 litre just incase you didn't know) hits 60 a whole 4 seconds quicker than a 1.8 litre 16v Mk4 Golf? Why is it that it hits 60 almost a second quicker than a 1st gen Ford Focus ST (2.0 litre). Why is it quicker than a mk4 Golf GTI, a lot quicker. These are facts! straight from the manufacturer and examples I have tested in the real world. Don't chat shit on here, not cool.

  • @oldsrally77 This is exactly what I expect to see when I comment on honda videos, fucking KIDS like you that dont know a fucking thing about cars but think you can run your mouth online and look cool and older. Too bad your age shows right through based on your accusations at me, then actually being wrong lol. Fucking little kid.

  • 1 second? is vtev really worth it? i dont think so.

  • @richard2590w in racing gaining 1 second lead in every 16 seconds of running is huge. So the answer is yes, vtec is worth it.

  • @richard2590w .010 is worth it

  • i can absolutely not tell anything from your comparison other than the right one is brighter and bigger. i do trust your word though

  • ok

  • useless..

  • SAME SHIT.

  • i can hear the supra passing your car~

  • @kongkangan obviesly not a supra, more like a R-35 GT-R.

  • why would you post this shit?? did u even watch it

  • can't hear shit.

  • Liar

  • So it had no VTEC and it was in limp mode??. Just unplug the VTEC to see the difference
