The pianist has two degrees from Juilliard, one in piano and one in organ. She was the first woman organist / choir director at a major church in Manhattan. She studied under Josef Raieff and Vernon de Tar. Somehow, I think she knows what speed to play the Brahms. Listen to the way she rolls the notes. Bravo!

Way too fast for a Requiem! The piano must have been on fire or something. Not clean because of the speed.

Let's be honest, the tempo in the beginning is obnoxiously fast. It finally starts to settle down, but still to fast.
