it is actually better than most people would think. except if your going fast and turn sharp it will flip. but im sure pretty much all nitro cars do that especially 4x4
whatever as normally it runs or not, ull have in some time an ear for what ur Motor is doing, just listen at the sound and u will get any information u need! trust me (:
check to see in your manual what is the normal temp- and usually you check after a run at idle- its only used to make sure its running normally, you dont tune with tempature or anything, its basically adds to a the checklist in your manual of what the best fuel mixture signs are
guys i want to buy the t-maxx 3.3 can you plsss tell me what els do i need do buy wen i buy the car and what fuel this car needs to run ( do I need some mixed fuel) thx for all and pls help me...
if you are just starting in nitro i would probably start with somethinkg like a nitro rustler or a nitro sport much more forgiving as far as the engine goes
yes u will lol if you dont it will be harder if you dont buy them after run oil is needed u dont have to but it makes the engine run better if you after run oil it after every time engine is used fuel dispencer u dont need really but its alot easier filling the fuel with them i have a tmaxx 3.3 there awesome
alot diff body oh and thats the 4909 but anyway the 4908 is longer has the resonater no reverse and no optidrive but it make alittle more power because of the resonator lol i should be making a vid of mine as soon as i can find my cam conecting cord for my labtop
Redcat, all you do is put the same story but put different brands in front of the story to support Redcat racing now stop saying they suck i have had one for 7 years and its fine now go have fun with you REDCAT LOL
Dude, Traxxas sucks, Their trucks are JUNK.I had one, I did a back flip with about 6ft. and landed perfectly. My transmission broke, one of my shocks blew out and all my screws were loose, lost an axle. Ever since i got that truck, i spent more time worrying about messing stuff up than enjoying it. Red cat Racing is so much better. look up 'avalanche Xp' and go to 'born2ride777' videos. you'll see how much better redcats are than traxxas!
Dude, ive read this exact same post, word for word on another video. quit copy and pasting your fucking insults. you suck. nobody cares about you opinion. I owne a HPI so i could care less about traxxas im just sick of you giving other people a hard time. get a god damn life you scum bag.
servos should not get wet no matter the cost of the rc thats why it stopped moving. if you decide to drive on a wet surface you must ballon your electronics
just keep practicng with the turning, there's a knack to it,i've had mine for 3 years now and can whip it round on any surface almost as flat out, even with bow ties on it
yo buds,i need help wid my t-maxx 3.3 my truck to shift in to second i duno y ive stripped the gear box down to have a look inside and its fine so plz help so i can start playing agen
hey guys.. i'm looking to buy a nitro r/c do you guys think taht a tmaxx 2.5 is a good place to start? i still am not sure if i can even get one.. but yeh..
do you guys think that its a good overall car? like speed, climbing, and jumping wise? and still strong and durable?
hey man, a 2.5 is a great place to start. i have a sportmaxx 2.5, which is the same as the tmaxx 2.5. overall it is a great truck, and as far as durability goes its pretty good. my friend and i , he has a tmaxx 3.3, have both snapped bulkheads and a couple other things. but when you hit 5 foot jumps aand cartwheel them every couple minutes, it has to be expected. it all depends on how u drive them.
As speed goes, my one speed 2.5 can almost keep up with my friend's 2 speed 3.3
lol my t maxx 3.3 differental in the rear is warn out and on of the screws for the engine magicly fell out an striped the spur gear im gonna replace all those things tomarrow
I was driving my tmaxx today and hit a dip and it stopped going. it runs and idles but will not go forward or backward it still turns though. Is it the clutch, diff, tranny, bearing.help
it could be alot of things but that happend to mine to and it was the locker gear in the trans witch all it is is a gear with two teath on each side and when u put it in either foward or reverse it engages the teeth on the gear to lock with a another ger to make it drive but if thats it then u will have to take ur trans out and rebuild it
Dam. im just going to wait till christmass and have my mom buy me a new tranny with steel gears. Just my luck. I had just bought a motor saver air filter.tuned pipe,3 shoe clutch, and heatsink motor mount, and pro 1 cooling head. and this happens
hey there was construction going in near my house and when they first came they had all dirt like that and i was doing the same with my t maxx 3.3 lol and one time going in i hit a rock on the back wheel and it bounced up and when i went to go up the dirt it just stuck its nose into it
Try putting some small weights on the ends of the front axel's. I do that when I'm trying to climb hills. The diffrence is amazing, It will go right up that hill. I used the small clamps off my old weight lifting set, they are about 1/2 pound each and you can just ziptie them on to the front 'A' arms. try to keep the weight on the outside of the axel's so it all goes to the tires and not the suspension!
hell yea bud get a 3.3 they are nice trucks very strong and trustworthy not to really get to destroyed expecially if your a begineer and your gonna crash lot's it's a good idea!sweet buddy
No. Dot not get one. Get the 2.5r. Who want to go 5 more miles a hour faster for like300 bucks...2.5r is just as good better cuz it cheaper..3.3 sucks ass
