I hesitate to respond due to the attacks I get from ignorant people. All I know is I heard this sound in Wisconsin. I know others who heard it. Unfortunately I didn't record it,m but then I think "why?". People will only say I made it up or copied it from a movie or another video. All the fakes take away from the credibility of the real videos and make it difficult to find the answers. I heard it on January 18, 2012. Why would I make myself to look crazy? I would rather not.

Firstly, I have expressed no opinion on what the sound was, or wasn't. Why do you assume that I have dismissed wind (or any other suggestion for that matter) as an explanation?

Secondly, why would you assume that the sound scares me? Is it the word "creepy"? I also find for example the fashion of the 70's, horror movies and earthworms to be creepy, but that doesn't mean I am afraid of them. LOL

@ademi7 Jeg bor nogen km syd for Hörby og ja, jeg har hørt lyden før. Sidste sommer.

Jeg er flyttet hertil fra København og de første par år kunne jeg også høre en anden, pulserende lyd her næsten hver aften i flere år, men den lyd var ikke ret høj. Den er dog helt forsvundet nu, cirka samtidig med at de fjernede det store antenne-anlæg der lå udenfor Hörby. Jeg véd selvfølgelig ikke om de to ting hang sammen, men er bare glad for at den holdt op. :)

This is real because I've heard it myself, although the noise I heard was much louder. I heard mine in Oregon, USA. It sounded like a jet flying overhead (a normal sound we can all identify over the course of our lives) but was a loud and constant noise that didn't fade, move, or have an apparent direction. It seemed to come from straight above me, but I couldn't tell. Weirdest thing I've ever heard in my life, and I forgot it even happened until it became recent news phenomena. Very odd!!!

I was not believing any of these videos, however this morning in Michigan my kids were sitting at the table, we heard a loud metal on metal or low horn sound, My son said what was that?? I ran to the door wall only to hear all of the same sounds everyone is hearing across the world. My kids were crying, My hands were shaking, this is something that is for sure supernatural. This went on for a good hour. I had to drop crying kids off to school. Not cool!

i listened to the other video-what a difference in sound! this 'white noise' is sooo loud! Comparing with the other videos mentioning similar noise is different-perhaps we can make a map of all points where noises came from(as some are way louder and have few music notes to them) with this one to see where 'hit points' where...

When/if you watch the other videos posted about this, from other countries, some of them are way louder. Which, possibly, means that whatever this noise is coming from, has an actual point on the map. The ones from canada, waaay louder. The ones from hungary are effin loud too. @BrokelynsABitchRat I just checked the video to see if I had made an error in the title and no, the video data says "Date created 12-01-2012 08:46" (Swedish time) and I uploaded it to YT shortly after that. I don't know if there's a time difference or if there's an error, but the error is not on my end. It was taken on the 12th. I'll be happy to provide the original video to anyone who'd like to check it for themselves. Just tell me where to send it. :)

@BrokelynsABitchRat. Sweden is not the same zone as the rest of the world. I live in Hawaii and CA is 2 hours later NY is 5 hours later and Sweden is 11 hours later than here. So while the video was made on 1/12 in Sweden it was uploaded on 1/11 in America. Not so dumb.

For those who can't hear what the noise is, I have just taken another video to compare with. It's the same grey winter weather, it's taken with the same camera and at the same location. Subtract one from the other and THAT is the sound. I hope that helps you. :)
