  • can someone explain me what is 14 bit, 48khz? a complete answer please!

  • @gorakigian google it.. It is a long answer and it wont fit the 500 character limit of a reply message :)

  • friends, which other products are available with similar functions to the dc-md6000 denon? thanx for the help . :P

  • just ordered one of these ! cant wait to get my hands on it

  • why is in the labels taktor kontrol s4 ? :P ( my choice over this one )

  • it gave me a boner... so beautiful :D

  • u can grab my latest tapes from soundcloud or mix.dj, search for Seven, 7an or h7-deejays, made by me on MC 6000 and T2P, cheers /S

  • Ooooh i dont even know where to start, haha sure ive been sooo FUCKIN negative to djs using controllers and computers, but hey, its the future, you can do sooo much more, i have pro gear from both Denon and Pioneer, simple explained, CDJ 2000s, DJM 800s, and Denon DNS 3700s, and to be frank, i cant spin the way i do on the MC 6000, the sets are more clean and i can surprise the audience in a way not possible on cds or tabletop mediaplayers . . . MC 6000 is the one controller for you !

  • you know when you spend hours and hours on the internet, trawling through reviews. I was about to give up. Im new to this so i dont want cheap crap nor redic expensive. Im very particular with my electonics

Then i found this puppy - its the one

Loads of buttons - my skinny hands will be fine,

durable - hope to get good enough to take out,

double up for music prod, looks mint, nice jogs, traktor, 4 decks.

un peu cher. If it was £400 id snap it up, so just gotta work hard/ not spend £200 elsewhere

  • Dear Santa...

  • I have one and I haven't had any problems with it. It is very extensive and has a ridic amount of features. The only problem is because of its small size its easy to hit the wrong button at the wrong time. I've been using mine as a mixer, more than a midi, but being able just to take around the controller itself is great for mobile DJs that don't want to carry around their CDJays or Turntables. Def a good purchase and worth every penny.

  • Is the software included

  • @aircanada143 "Which is bundled with Traktor's LE software, making setup with a mac or PC simple."

  • @aircanada143 i dont think so... just virtual dj le... which isn't even 4 decks

  • @aircanada143 or traktor LE... which again, only 2 decks... you need pro software to get full advantages

  • @aircanada143 did you even watch the video?

  • @aircanada143 It's Bundled with the LE version of Virtual DJ or Traktor. (Choose what you want)

  • i went to the music store and out of all the controllers, this is def the one I wanna get. I feel it just calling me...

  • I'm buying, like now.

  • Anybody can be a DJ now. Automatic beat matching, visual graphs for queing tracks.....Everything you need to kill the art of DJing...

  • @CalledByCthulhu DJing isn't about talent. It's about the music. I have been producing and mixing music for years.. And the advantage of actually fine tuning your mix without worrying about beatmatching is soo much better. It's about the sound of your mix today, it's about time you move on with technology.

  • @xXtortionXx It's not about talent? What then would be the point of DJing if you can just make a playlist and push the shuffle button? You're right, it is about the music but watching a live band lip synch and play air guitar just so they have more time to headbang justs cheapens the music. Talent and music go hand in hand. You can't have one without the other. You say that "it's about the sound of your mix today". Wouldn't talent in mixing create better mixes over the other guy?

  • @CalledByCthulhu Not really dude. Your missing my point, DJing is different than a guitarist or a vocalist. This has nothing to do with it. I am done arguing with thick headed people.

Say if you were mixing 16 channels of audio... Would you really spend the time beat matching you fuckin tard? DJing can be considered a production tool. To show people all the hard effort you made into your music. Don't ya think you wanna have something tight to mix on without having to worry about mismatches?

  • @xXtortionXx One more thing. Someone that's had years of experience in mixing shouldn't have to worry about beat matching. A few months (at the most) of practice is all it takes. Why worry when it takes a few seconds to drop your needle on your cue sticker, slide your pitch control while you hand correct it? Are those few seconds really that crucial for your mixing? When you're in a rush to become the next big thing is music it's not necessary to put in effort when sofware does the work for you.

  • @CalledByCthulhu That's exactly why you wanna use it. This allows you to do much more complex mixing than mixing on Vinyl. You can do cue jumps in seconds! There's times where I am mixing on 4 channels and I have to quickly jump to the other side of the track.

Again, look at the advantages that tech gives you. It all depends on style too.. If you mix hip hop and DnB, mix on vinyl.. If your doing Trance/House/Psy/Goa.. anything like that you kinda want to use stuff like this for faster mixes!

  • @CalledByCthulhu The point I am making, Is that the whole idea of new technology is to make your life easier, and quicker to do. I am sure you can't do half of the stuff on vinyl that traktor has, the only way is through time code.. Which uses traktor... Watch some of the videos out there that have a combination of time code and traktor. Then come to me and say these programs or devices are ruining the art of DJing!

  • @CalledByCthulhu yep, deal with it bro

  • virtual dj???? is this crap?

  • @dudedude8998 Virtual dj is for beginners :)

  • @TheDutchChris I know that man i was just saying why would it have virtual dj no one uses that its crap......i might have said it wrong

  • @dudedude8998 i use vdj its nice because it has the basic functions and its video djing friendly. it has tons of video transitions and effects that automatically activate when crossfading. don't get me wrong tractor is good but for me it won't get the job done. Serato is top notch and video sl is awesome but its an add on to ssl and expensive. on top of that from what i know of my ns7 won't work with it.. only itch.

  • me enamore

  • Where can i get the DN-MC6000 in India, the Indian denon company doesn't not deal with DJ products, which totally sucks

  • hello the pitch controller its litle tricky.i cant adjust the pitch as i want . if i want to adjust the pitch at 130.15 i cant because is jumping numbers so i use sync. the bent mode is not so precise.am i doing somthing rong

  • @krokes123 Is the slider broken? We have one of these at my work and it adjusts pretty close to every hundredth.

  • Jebeno a koliko košta?

  • so like u can use trakor with it??? I'm so confused

  • Virtual DJ has the least CPU load of all these software and is the easiest and least buggy to configure. It just happens, though, that Traktor has better sound. So the trick is finding a controller that's already pre-configured to run with it. You might as well buy a Serato controller, since that's the software that's hardware dependent and you can always buy the others later. Serato gives access to free indie music through their site.

  • @TheOriginalDjFiLtH I guest you ain't a real dj either, that "sync" buttom is in your 3700's as well as traktor.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheOriginalDjFiLtH Guess you haven't get around all the tricks with your 3700's.

And what you do,you mix traktor and serato together you must be a genius.

Traktor sync do work with my MC6000, DN-X1600 and my old ddm4000.

By the way that manual pitch in the 3700's really suck.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheOriginalDjFiLtH clearly you're not a genius... its spelled G-E-N-I-U-S

  • why would anyone even use cd's anymore? This looks way better. If someone knows what they are talking about, please let me know :P

  • it nice guys its deff worth the money

  • holy fuck!

  • Traktor ludziska! ^^

  • this turns me on

  • hey guys can i map this thing where i want a certain button to do something elsein VDJ, i got the pro version and got used to my Hercules RMX having a "pitch reset" button...can i program this where i can have one of the parameter buttons or something do that...? i bought this ang i'm kinda having a hard time...can someone please anser me asap...thank you

  • @CnTtRsTN1 watch the video again. 0:41

  • and does it work with the new traktor 2 ?

  • Can someone recomend me what is it more worth it to buy ? , this ? , or 2 CDJ200 AND A 2 CHAN MIXER ?

  • @bLokexOner having 2 CDJ's and a mixer would definetly be a better idea than getting one of these even if this is a nice piece of equipment. if you have the money for 2 CDJ's, i'd go with that.

  • @MaxamusLajkois

    Why though?

  • whats better traktor or virtual dj??

  • @jeza4646 It depends on what you want

  • @jeza4646 generally, mixing between a compound of youtube and itunes is better than both these options.

  • @jeza4646 Traktor!!!!

  • @jeza4646 traktor

  • does the denon dn-mc6k work with deckadance?

  • Great bit of kit, best on the market, had it for 3 months, quality/ professional piece of kit

  • Aww denon makes the best stuff!! I want one!

  • ...You can't use this with Serato, can we? ... Or is it only Traktor?

  • @IsraelMartinello

we use it with traktor and virtual-DJ but i didnt know to us it with serato :-(

  • @IsraelMartinello

This works with Traktor Pro 2, Ableton and you can even use Traktor for gain balancing in Ableton and the Denon to play the results. Just don't ask how :/

  • I'm kinda sold on this!

  • @swashington87 thanks for the link,I hope I win!!! haha

  • Hey If any of you guys want to Win one of these for FREE? Pro Audio Star is giving one away. The Contest is only for a week so hope on it ASAP!!!!

    Good Luck!

  • Hi, i got a question:

In the middle of the controller you can find knobs like video, sample and record. But this is only for Virtual DJ, isn't? So, it hasn't a function in Traktor?

    Thnx!

  • @ricard0wnz Traktor has also sample recording, its one of the new festures of the newest traktor software.

  • If you buy this you get virtual DJ or what? who xplain me please.

  • @gorakigian u get traktor le

its a lite version of traktor that lasts for a year

  • will i still need a external card like the AUDIO 8 to connect it to the turntables and run timecode vinyl or this is sufficient? i use traktor scratch pro and in long run, i am also planning of getting the turntables.

  • @xannut no need for soundcard for traktor.. but it you want at a later time the use of vinyl or cd timecodes .. then yes you need the soundcard..

  • song title?!

  • i'm selling my vci300 but is the jog bigger than vci or similar...?

  • My deffintion of the Denon DN-MC6000 :o) I like this controller!!

    youtube*com/watch?v=7aiehKh0W3Y&feature=related

  • i bought this device - and it is amazing.

no problems and very real feeling

the problems i saw was with serato and rane claimed that there is a problem between.

i said that this device is not the problematic one, but midi controllers are.

even though this device is great i still had some compability issues with it when i tried to work it with traktor , but it has been solved

cdj and mixer is the real plug and play. computer and controller will always stay plug and pray

  • Could you map the decks of the control to work with the decks in Serato Scratch Live?? SO instead of buying a 4 channel club mixer (example Pioneer DJM-800 or 700) couldnt you buy this and use it as a 4 channel club mixer and it also has 2 built in decks so you could use Serato Scratch Live's 4 deck feature?? Correct me if i am wrong because im just trying to find answers

  • @mistahvybz Year, that should be possible.

  • this is very very very very veeeeeryyyyy nice!!! XD

  • @ANewDjInTheWorld how many effects are there?

  • this unit is great for club and mobile solutions because of the outs. what was traktor thinking not including a booth out in their S4?

  • what is difference between this item and the previous denon all in one units and the adj vms4

  • @naveen4nse tell me if you know!

  • @ricard0wnz - Ricard - I have NO idea and I do think I will be getting one BUT if you are in the market for a midi controller - then its a pretty good unit

  • I'm waiting for that new mixer ! (Ordered 1 month ago !)

Hope that I can get it before the 31 th december !

  • I have a Denon Dn Hs 5500, a Dn Hd2500, and 2 Denon Dn S3700's. I don't get it. The Mc6000 plays music files from a laptop using software. The three types of equipment I just named. Play music files also from a usb port on the unit. The major point is you don't need a computer or software to play the same music. Also all three of those units have on board effects. Are people just bored and thrilled at looking at a laptop screen for many hours.

  • @DjfrankiB I think the MC6000 is geared towards DJs who are currently using Traktor Pro or VDJ and are in the market for a well made Midi-Controller/Mixer.

  • @DjfrankiB

its not just a portable controller. it olso has a good sound card inside & its olso a good 4 channel mixer,

nixing in traktor its better than playing straight mp3's or cd's ;-)

on laptop you can see lot of usefull infos about your tracks & you can organize & olso create.

i love DENON & i'm sure that this controller together with TRAKTOR are perfect for my job ;-)

  • @psyshika I know exactly what the controller is and what it does. I have traktor pro and use it sometimes with my 3700's or 5500. The 5500 has many features ; as well as being able to plug in a keyboard. I would not say that using my computer is better than using my table topsi. I have a 1700 mixer as well with dual effects banks. My track selection and beat matching is the same with or without my computer. Traktor has more effects; but their are only a few that sound good with house music.

  • Does it have the only good thging about the VMS4? That being push-button sampling? Allows creative additives into a mix.

  • Jog wheels are too small!

  • I shall buy three of them it's thats good !

  • i think i am going to buy one !!!

  • i just pressed mute on all your computers with my super powers!!!! Although I have to say it was disgusting touching all the keyboards of all of you peoples windows computers with my disembodied ghost hand. Windows.... filthy.

  • The mixer/controller are really great. After 1 hour it was like I have used the MC6000 all my life - the workflow are very good!

    I am comming from a Denon DN-HD2500 and a Kontrol X1, and I feel like in 1992 when I start playing CD on a Denon DN2000 F MK1 - just right!!

    Good work, Denon.

  • Finally and official video!!!!!

Can't wait for mine to arrive

  • Very sexy female voice !

  • cool!

  • i got one !!!

  • @famadj

damn you im still waiting 4 it!

how does it feel? how`s the sound?

    B) few more days

  • @shominister am.. i expreced wrong :S i try to say : i like to have one
