  • Don't discount females singing this song! I sing it. It's been one of my favorites for most of my life. I was raised in MS and my grandmother kept the house full of gospel music...much of it from the Jackson Southernaires...sitting here crying listening to it now...ahh the memories!

  • This lineup of the Jackson Southernaires was invincible. There was not a better singing group in quartet that came remorely close to them. All their frontmen were strong and their background vocals were as smooth as silk, and not to mention the band killed everytime they strapped up. Thiis is the Southernaires at their Zenith!!!!!!!

  • If memory is correct, Frank wrote this one, as he was Malaco's premier song writer and producer. But let me check it just to make sure. I do remember he discovered the truthettes and gave them a chance and the rest is history. lol.
