I can relate to so much of what you said here. We're looking for a church in our city too, and it's hard to find that balance of fellowship along with a teaching/preaching style that doesn't make me run away. I miss having a church body that knows me and is mine. I also have a husband who's being really supportive with me focusing on my writing, and I'm turning 36 in January and have some of that "too old" thought creeping in already. I love your dreadlocks btw.
