  • OMG ITS JEREMY LIN!!!!!!

  • I want to move to Wellington! I've been a SCUBA diver for years and never took anything but photos!

  • How do you pick them up or sneak up on them, without them flappin and getting away? hehe

  • I do appoligise if my comment was perceived as inappropriate, however i will say, my family were in a number of wars, ww1, ww2 Vietnam to preserve what is kiwi about this great country, and pillaging the coast isn't very kiwi.

  • well well well. Another REALLY disappointing video of people taking undersize kai from the sea. Show some respect for the ocean please....

  • go back home and take ur own fish, grrr, ive seen far to much of asians and the like pillaging, takin anything and everything. buckets and buckets of everything undersized, Kiwi's dont work this way. when i dive or fish i only ever take the biggest paua and ill only ever take 5, thats a mean feed... gettin real sick of our fish stocks droping makin it harder and harder to get my 1/2 quota... dont come over here and fuk our fishing plz! stay at home and fuk ur own fishing!... oh too late huh ?

  • it is a common theme for foreigners to come to new Zealand and pillage our fresh sea food, like these undersized scallops. watch coast watch, Asians and pacific islanders, it is a shame because once they have gone our future generations will not enjoy the same pleasures as us. fish responsibly you fools, you're guests in this country,

  • @sikashooter I am pretty sure they live there.

  • @sikashooter you will find that unless your Maori, everyone in NZ are guests, choose your words wisely or your look like an uneducated fool! Im porn breed NZ PI who also feels strongly about idiots who do not comply to NZ regulations so don't paint everyone with the same brush!!

  • awesome!!!

  • From memory the size limit is 90mm across the shell. I doubt those are big enough.

  • very nice vid i realy like this

  • Hate amateur divers who ignore regulations! Those scallops are under size!

  • @GOTALITEG Hey if you love scallops you take what you can find!

  • @UnholyStyx take what you can? Are you kidding me, its idiots like you who have no consideration for the environment then wonder why the price of seafood sky rockets! Im hoping MAF will be knocking on your door, because as idiots you failed to think that concerned NZ like my self will report you, and yes they have the link to your youtube evidence vid, oh and if your thinking of taking it down, i took the time to screen shot your faces just in case you did, happy diving!!

  • Very cool. love how they blend in with the bottom it seems you need to focus a bit to pinpoint there outline and there location

  • you can get these scallops anywhere in wellington NZ right?

  • @iansaurus2008 and you don't need a license right?

  • cold much?

  • I do this with my dad on the Barrier. I dont really like scallops though, so I eat the kinna when we go for shellfish.

  • I GOT DINNER :D

  • only in NZ !!

  • shouldn't dive with your snorkel in....

  • He had scallops in his vagina

  • these dudes know how to dive!!

  • You should not be sharing this information and helping people who dont know about the sea to be taking scallops. If the word spreads there will be none left.

And you should be put in jail as all of those scallops are undersized.

  • @kangobanana Read the Description before you say shit that isn't true dickhead.

  • how do you withstand the pressure, i cant even go down 12 without it hurting my ears, and how can you do it on a single breathe

  • @CJhoop13 You can equalize the pressure in your ears by squeezing your noze and blowing against it. One of many techniques that will let you go to any depth without any eartrouble. There are also techniques that let you fool your body thinking there's plenty of oxygen by getting rid of carbon dioxide.

Taking creatures from the sea because you have some twisted idéa of that killing animals is "being close to nature" is however horribly wrong and you people should be ashamed of yourself.

  • Did the scallops try to steal anything of yours like the rest of the sea animals?

  • That is fantastic!

  • wow

  • nothing better than hunting, preparing and eating what you catch from the sea!

  • I half expected the scallop to jump out at you

  • nm I know how now :)

  • :::OOO wish I were you. Hanging out with octopusses and gettin mugged by seals. And how do you cope with the pressure? Some sort of ear plugs?

  • Never had scallops

  • @Zaharkl Bummer...they are great.

  • epic wetsuit..

  • I'd kill to be able to do that! That is truly awesome!

  • Goddamn, how huge r your lungs?!

  • Scallops are my favorite!

  • Yum

  • How do you deal with the pressure?

  • @LordofWolves You don't really feel any pressure while diving!

  • typical

  • thats a nice catchbag... where you get those?
