I am a barber from the uk and i loved watching this guy work. He cuts so fluently and smooth with those sheers that it was like a conducter conducting his orhcestra into a masterpiece. & even at the close up shot, not one hair out of a place. U can see he is a man who is a true craftsman that enjoys his work. & gives sharp and immaculate attention to detail. Hand across the pond from the Uk Jun. We need more barbers like you in London mate.

@TryNRun: try using a product called "Krew Komb", it comes in white jar with blue and red or orange accents. Your hair can be cut with or without the product, it's your barber's preference and it works very well on thin/fine hair.
Hey im mixed dads black moms white. So my hair isnt super natural its more Curly. Is there anyway i can get a proper Flat Top? Ive wanted one for soo long and still want one but idk if my hair can have it. I heard if i use activator it would work, is it possible for me to have a Flat Top? Thanks
@TryNRun you could probably do it. It's hard to say for sure because it depends more on your head shape. It wouldn't look like this guy's hair, but curly flat tops still look good. You'll need to maintain it in the morning. I wouldn't use activator.

Jun is the best flat top Barber in the mid-west. I used to get my flat top from him back in high school in the early 90's. I never found a barber around that could match his skill. Jun has clients who are extremely loyal to him from H.S to adult hood. I think it is cool to see a video about Jun, he is a good man.

It's plain to see that he's using an Oster Fast Feed to do it. Also if you call the beginning shot perfectly faded, then you are worse with fading than you are with grammar and spelling. He started the haircut with a line around with an Andis Master and then went above that line with #1. That can easily be done in 30 seconds.

First of all, flat tops are timeless. If you're a barber and can do a good one, you'll always have clients. I learned fauxhawks about 8 years ago. I don't consider them cutting edge anymore. I do cut some though, and am planning on taping one. Although, once they go out of style, that's it, they're gonna look really dated. "Surfer cuts" is kind of a broad term.

when you say spray, do you mean hair spray? Because typically you miss a lot of hair with any styling product in it when doing a flat top. That's why we don't use it. I've always been of the thinking, that if it turns out the way a customer wants it, who cares how it's done. But that's me. No hard feelings though for sure. I've seen a lot of people do freehand flats, but unless they're 1/4 inch long or shorter, they're never good haircuts. I'd like to see a good one if you got any pics.
