You can be outside totally wrecking that other dudes ride! Teach his ass to keep his car parked in you driveway!

  • safety belt is not safety

  • @BlooDAvriL what a dumb thing to say.

  • Nice! Lol the he shoulda been like pilling a sliver out of the guy in the cars fingers and than picking his teeth lol

  • How the hell did I get from videos of the peak of Mount Everest to here?

  • I'm a volunteer firefighter and I had this knife and it was used to extricate someone from a car underwater, it saved her life. Thanks Victornox!

  • I've Noticed though, there is one tool that is VITAL in any Urban of Outdoor situation.

A Tool that is Standard on any Swiss Army Knife (At the request of the Swiss army probably), but not present on this particular model.

I refer of course to the CORKSCREW.

No Swiss Army Knife should be without one.

  • 3:12 - The most important tool in the entire kit.

  • @nutnfancy brought me here from the Victorinox Shot show vid... I lost my place in the Shot Show video.

  • i love how the dude is sitting in the car all calm and collective, he has the strength to punch open his window but not undo the lock.

  • Glass cutter? wow go victorinox

  • or you could just open the door.

  • @srvaughan2 Not if your door is smashed nor if the car is under water.

  • I have one promised as a gift- does anyone know if I can replace the glass saw with a wood saw and where i'd get the replacement from? Please?

I like the glass breaker but am much more lible to use a wood saw then a glass saw... does anyone know if its anygood on wood with the currant saw?

  • @shortwavejones It's not possible to replace the glass saw with a wood saw. In that case, it's perhaps better for you to get another knife, such as the Workchamp, Hercules or the Trekker in addition to your Rescue Tool. By the way, most people who like Swiss Army Knives have multiple pieces like myself. They're awesome collectibles.

  • @jjdjjdjjdjdjdjjdjdjd Thanks for the info- I found that the glass saw is a poor wood saw- however it is able to reduce wood to lengths that fit in my wood gas stove. I'll just have to make sure I carry a folding saw or get a trekker when I camp.

    Thanks again

  • oh great now they'r drinking beer at work

  • Excuse me, but did this guy just saw trough a car windshield with a fucking pocket knife?

  • @131x

why is he doing that? didn't the last guy just show us how easily you could remove the plastic and take the window out in one piece lol

  • free victorinox for nutfancy

  • Ah, die Jungs von der Feuerwehr!!! Classic!!!

  • @theicedman nope

  • Wenger FTW trolololololololol

  • whys the dude in the car not wearing eye protection

  • nutnfancy sent me here also

  • Wow, definitely going to get one of these now. You had me at cutting through a freaking window.

  • "Mess people's cars up." ~ Victorinox

  • @D3capman You could really take keying people's cars to a whole new level with this knife.

Key my car, and I will remove your windshield

  • most casual car rescue ever

  • this leads me to wonder wether the wood saw on my knife would do that

  • FAKE!!

Swiss firemen don't drink bottled water.

  • FAKE!!

    Swiss firemen don't drink Coke.

  • Me too.

  • @nutnfancy brought me here

  • great ending.

  • yeah ok its not a substitute for the proper gear but i certainly wouldnt regret having this in my car if in between a couple trees in the middle of nowhere, its these kinds of things which save your life.

  • haha we just use the halligan tool if we have to smash a window or pry glass off

  • @rhysdude1 but does the everyday citizen have a halligan in his pocket?

  • i wish it had a pair of scissors and a wood and metal saw. there really handy as rescue and first aid tools.

its acually a pretty efective knive, but only for car accidents

  • Comment removed

  • After all that taping up the window and smashing it, the rear window was open all along! 2:26

  • @sp1ke12321 It's a demonstration. They would have broke it in the real life, if that's what you want to hear.

  • @sp1ke12321 lol

    thats a dumbfuck!

  • I got this knife, and i tried smashing some old car windows at my job with it, and it was very effective. it may not be the tool for rescue people, but it's a good tool for you to use personally

  • O.O

  • i have that very good knife ! i got it for xmas from godfather :)

  • music was good at the beginning but then got over done

  • yay!

now I can start robbing some cars!

  • wheair can u get that ?

  • they don't need these they got things that are better than this now

  • @DuckSmuggler1

It never hurts for first responders to carry their own personal tools even when they're off-duty.

  • 0:40 the guy is like hey why are you destroying my car

  • i dont like this "rescue tool". for the first application its ok, but a bigger knife does the job better...cutting the seatbelts with this thing is pretty dangerous because you can harm the man in the car. a real rescueknife does this job better. for taking out the side window there are special tools on the firetruck, this one is like a hammer... different tool, same thing: to much power to use.

taking out the front window by cutting it, takes too long with this...we tried it all in a simulation

  • Good for marine rescue as well. I have been using it for years. Its phosphorous surface is also great during the night time to reach in case of emergency.

  • hahah i like the ending part. At the end of a long day of saving people's lives, busting out windows, and cutting seat-belts, use your Swiss Army Knife's bottle opener and reflect on how Swiss Army Knife has made you life that much easier, safer, and possible. Dude im sold, im fucking buying one now. LOOK OUT WORLD

  • customizible/interchangible blades wow

  • Okay, MUST have one. These are awesome!

  • lol, that's a great shot at the end with the beer bottle. "A job well done!"

  • the original purpose of this swiss army knife is to open beers.

the fact u can save someone from a car with it before hand, is just a nifty little bonus.

  • Isurus, an original and progressive rock band based in South London, are looking for a vocalist. We have a professionally equipped studio, currently are a guitarist, bassist, and drummer and are looking for a likeminded singer to complete our lineup. Someone versatile with a great voice . Think Maynard James Keenan, Mike Patton, James Labrie, etc

  • Im sorry but that thing is shit, (for a firefighters perspective) with gloves on and in a blaze you wouldnt be able to see things in smoke let alone be switching little tools in and out, specially with big heavy duty gloves on

  • @64CSAR

in fact, we tried it in a crash simulation and the one with this knife looked like a fool, switching through those tiny little tools, and was also too slow

  • @64CSAR its really easy to handle to blade, it only takes about 5 minutes playing with the knife to get a easy feel for it.

I can flick the blade out like a switchblade, (assisted with my thumb) and momentum in a flash! closing it with one hand is only a matter of being dexterous. the Seat-Belt cutter and Shatterproof glass cutter are for self use! :p

The thing is so damn smooth, i payed 85$ for it at a local store, worth every penny!

  • @sk84gs I was just saying as a tool made for firemen, it sucks, you have fire and smoke coming at you and you need to get people out quick, not trying to fiddle with a swiss army knife, i mean theyre great just not for a firemen ya know? big gloves heat and stress , but like CanltAlready down there said itd be a great tool to carry off duty. Cause to be honest Id rather use the jaws of life then this thing, or even a circilar saw

  • @64CSAR they are retarded for fireman.

i just think the video didnt want to be too suggestive about what your everyday guy can do with this "rescue tool".

mines purely for safety. (in my camping rucksack)

I have other knives i use for EDC.

  • @sk84gs Aha exactly , i swear if a real fireman went in a fire to save someone with this thing , then we'd have two people who need rescuing

  • I'm a knife collector of some sort, and I have stumbled across all kinds of knives so far and I must say, for everyday tasks, travelling, light camping...I haven't found anything better than these swiss pocket knives.

Blade is good. Easy to sharpen, maintaines edge well, doesn't rust. It's not an indestructable monster like a Busse knife, but it wasn't designed for such tasks anyways.

Treat it well and it will serve you for a lifetime. A swiss army knife never failed me.

  • I also have a Swiss Army knife. and I must say that you do not count the times I get out of trouble with this baby. exceptional

    cassette pocket styling tools!

    INCREDIBLE!

  • after this he has a dosaqui beer and solves the word economic problems.

  • =O terminetor

  • jaws of life feature lol

  • Yeeees......drink the beverage.lol, careful not to hurt the 'stache.

  • nek meni ovo uradi sa kolima i ja cu mu jebati majku :D

  • We have the best knifes

  • How long till that blade gets dull

  • @ArsenaultMuzic heh, the victorinox steel is relatively weak, but doesn't rust, so it'll probably handle light tasks

  • lol just think hitting someone in the head with that X_X

  • wow, he used a leatherman at a swiss army video...

  • hahahaha, great job mr. Stache!

  • Okay okay, as a person, having those tools could be useful, however.. As a pro shouldnt you have a better way? And for the love of god why didnt they just open the DOOR!? lol

  • At the 1:00 minute mark he breaks the glass. This is the best way for the average person to escape a sinking car.

  • Could this of been any more cliche?

  • @GBjapes "of been"... learn some basic English language grammar before criticizing other people's work. And cliché what? They are showing the functions of a tool, how creative do you want to get? Twat.

  • @stemel haha calm down man, first of all that is propper grammar. and seriously man dont nit pick at any comment u feel that will make u seem smarter

  • @stemel You are obviously of superior intelligence.

  • I could have done all that with a brick :D

  • @fugehdehyou I should make a pouch for my brick

  • Great video

  • kinda cheesy but gets the message through

  • onley thing i dont get is the awl like why would you need that in a after a car crash

  • Comment removed

  • lol the end

  • I under estimated what it could do.. maybe dont throw away the jaws of life just yet though..

  • the ending it's awesome

  • Very good presentation! i must get this tool =)

  • Great tool! but why doesn't he ( the firefighter) just open the door?

  • @manhattenhero With a mustache like that? Are you mad?! Real men smash through windows!

  • @manhattenhero beacuse you cant to that if the car is laying sideways

  • damn never thought id see a little pocket knife cut through a windshield

  • @bstjames1611 and the injured driver who may be pinned in would get back there how?

  • @rds112233 ide get back there with your negativity

  • LMAO the beer at the end.

  • all I can say is I wonder how many takes there were while filming this video

  • So! After the occupier of the car has died, due to having to change the end of the tool, you can always open a bottle of coke, and contemplate what a hash yuou made of that job! Also! the back window was open for him to push the broken passenger window out - wouldnt it have been easier to reach in and open the door!! haha!! I dont think this is any good for us, or the fire brigade!

  • 2:45 Oh I found it, Swiss Tool!

  • the problem is its probabaly totaly ruined after one use of each tool :l
