The bass walk in the begininng is A G F then back to G. The riff doesn't go to E until the word "hill" is sung. What's surprising is that everyone on youtube has the same mistake except for the ones of Lindsey himself. Nicely done though, very nice.
Thank you, you'revery kind. I'm playing at the Nag's Head in Crewe Cheshire this friday, but it may be a little far for you to come. I'll be sure to let you know if I ever make it to the US!
really good job on this cover. a little softer a little simpler. Lindsay Buckingham himself would, I think, quite enjoy it. The "oooh, ahhh" at the end is dead sexy.

I just listened to Buckinghams version, then saw this one, you play just the same, a female voice is better for this song i love your singing, thanks for the tune!
I really liked your version of the song. I think you have a soft, delicate voice that adds a different dimension to the song. Very nice guitar work as well. Thanks for posting!
Your welcome! and thanks for writing back. I used to play folk songs when I was younger, but haven't played for years now. I just need to get back into it again. I think "Landslide" would be a good song to start with. What are the chords to that song? I know C, G, A, but I have to practice to remember the rest of the chords. Thanks again.
Very nicely done! I'd like to see Stevie Nicks do as good a job as you! You and Lindsey could do this song together! I like the slower version it's nice!
Your very talented. I have a guitar just sitting in my closet. I find it hard to play because for a female I have short stubby fingers, any suggustions?
Start off with just basic chords A, D, G etc, and just learn some simple songs. You'll get the hang of it it's just a matter of practice. Thanx for your lovely comment by the way! Julia x
I love it.. You really dont have to care what other people say. You know ur good.. I also want to play it but dont know every chord.. Would you want to give me the chords.. Or the version you play it. Cus i love it..
No, look up his album's like Gift of Screws look how his name is spelled. if you like Lindsey Buckingham you should at least know how to spell his name.
Bravo, bravo;no one one earth except Lyndsey can play those base notes as fast by the way. oh, and the face pulling were my fave parts, very sexy cover!
Where are these critical people coming from? Yeah, you are no Lindsay Buckingham but you knew that. Never heard this by a chic before and DAMNIT I LIKE IT! Yes, crappy recording for sure but whaddya want? it's youtube and that's what we all have to put up with. Music is about being moved and that song was sweet and you moved me juliad so keep it up
What's the big deal about the bass part? it's not note for note, and it doesn't try to be. I loved the half-note pulse of this performance, more stately and mesmerizing than LB's solo version. Stands on its own, and great vocal, too.
Shitty recording, though~! You should record this for real, instead of the "video camera built in mic" recording. There's something *really* good here in this version and performance - there's a real sense of longing here in the vocal. It's great~ works for me!
thoroughly enjoyed this. well done... and brave. not an easy piece to do and you sing too. lovely voice. easy to see you love to play and you had fun doing this. thanks for posting this.
can't believe some peeps even attempting to disregard you for not speeding up the bass bits the fact you sang and as you said had a good go is a big thumbs up
very nice cover and i thought it sounded awesome and you played it very well
I love that you tackled this one!!! I haven't gotten to it yet--but it's on my list...I love that you love the big Mac stuff and Joni Mitchelle. Here's to the female guitar players who sing, too!!!!
Well done!!!
ps - would love to collaborate sometime/somehow... I did a non-rehearsed version of Never Going Back and Case of You awhile ago...have a look if you like and see what you think

the chords for the verse are C, G (or G/B, the same as G except no finger on top string), Am7, then back to C. the chorus is different.
