The electrics are great, and depends on what your personal aims are with the boat but for my needs the electric wasn't quick enough. Electrics are brilliant for general trolling and moving around in a creek though.

how does the boat go? im thinking about doing something similar but got a load of questions before i delve in.

Hey, It was bloody terrible so I bought a 4hp Merc for it. When I take my 3 year old out it easily gets on the plane. Won't with two adults though. Great little boat though and has caught a heap of fish already!
