I love those hallmark cards that say "Jesus is the Reason for the Season". Even though he could of been born in July (or not at all) and Santa-Claus type characters like the Persian Papa-Nourz pre-date Christianity by hundreads of years and that Mehragan (or the greek Mithra) was born on Dec 25th.
