turn the working layer opacity down so you can see through it while erasing. once done, turn it back up to 100

to make things a lot easier make the background layer the one you adjust and have the top layer as the original so that you can see what your erasing

How do you get the 3D Option? When I got my adobe photoshop Cs4, it didn't have it? Does it have something to do with registering? Because the only way I can register is to go to Help then registering... or whatever it's called :( Someone help.

you must have the basic version. 3D is only available in Photoshop CS4 Extended, which is more expensive.

Nice tutorial. I use Gimp (amateurishly) due to the affordability issue (can't beat free : 0) ). Again, much thanks for allowing me to use one of your great YT Backgrounds.
