Furries also tend to be older males, I'd wager a guess at 16 and up, whereas this fandom is even attracting those in lower teens/tweens. Maturity levels are all over the place. You don't hear about the good ones so much as the loud ones. =/

Also, the comics depicting people "puking rainbows" after watching the show is spot on. It fills one with joy so much they want to explode. I don't see that w furs

@Humorlisiousness Yes, bronies are vastly more excitable than most fandoms and I'm probably guilty of some things you mentioned. But the main message of the show is to "make some friends", you can't do that by not being somewhat outgoing, on the internet or in real life. And bronies are having an economic impact as well, with Hasbro's revenues going up and the Hub being a success. (perhaps not breaking even yet though).

Furries are also a more established fandom, whereas bronies are a year old.
