One of the best singers of all time. In 1987 having tried for the good part of a decade, I finally got his greatest hits C.D. I was so happy to get it after trying dozens of places in several countries including Australia, Japan, The U.S. and all over the U.K. Oh how times have changed with downloads etc. you can get any record you want now. I hear he will be performing at Glastonbury and has a new single out called "Never Say Die" it's great but not on YouTube yet as of 27th June 2008
NO! The Cars were from LA. This is Gilbert O'Sullivan and then The Arrows. Both UK based acts managed by MAM Management. Actually to be precise, Gilbert was managed by MAM and Arrows were mismanaged by MAM :) LOL!
xeebo, you're so funny! According to your profile you are 30 years old. This show aired 32 years ago, in 1976. So, did you see it in aprevious lifetime? LOL!
nothing wrong with gilberts hair, still has it like that!! suites him fine! the others yeah need a haircut but the 70's was like WTF doesnt matter lol.
"They all need hair cuts ..what a bad time for style, why did men want to look like girls or faggy looking men"? - Because it got them women by the dozen. Jealous?
O'Sullivan was a guest on the Arrows TV show. This is a short clip taken from their series The Arrows Show. It wasn't uncommon to have a variety of vastly different musical artists perform on pop shows in the 1970s.
Does the drummer look like Jeff Beck?

O'Sullivan was far from Bubblegum pop, you fool. He was a supremely credible singer/songwriter.
