Zicam is a fraud! If it was forced to meet the current standards it would not meet them to be on teh shelf... but they lobbied to be "grandfathered"... homeopathy doesn't work.

I've used the rapid melts (yuk) and the spray gel for the throat. Zinc DOES work to shorten the duration of a cold if you catch it early enough. I like Cold Eze too.
